Meh, I think i just won't participate in the contest this year. I have the money to get the game and some people here might not. Also I'm paying for next day shipping on my copy, so even if I did win I don't think that would be covered.

Hero of Winds repliedIt'll work if you get his health in the red. I used a Timer Ball. Figuring out what to use during my new playthrough, but I'm so bored with XY that I just can't play my new playthrough.
Hero of Winds repliedI kinda regret resetting my game because I still play it the same as before I reset it...which is practically never. Pokemon tires me out quick. Each generation is basically a fad.
Hero of Winds repliedMaster Ball always catches, but it's not worth the Master Ball. I spent mine on a female Eevee for breeding to find out Master Balls don't carry over. Also, it takes a few balls before you can catch Mewtwo/Legendary Pokemon. Sometimes you get lucky.
Clouded Sun repliedDon't use the Master Ball or the Pokeball. Did you guys forget the healing? And, there actually is a chance the Master Ball fails.
Use the Dusk Ball, it's really good catch in caves. I caught mine at yellow without any status.
Hero of Winds repliedMaster Ball can't fail. It's legitmately impossible. It's built to catch any Pokemon without the struggle. That's why you only get one.
Clouded Sun replied@Hero of Winds it actually is possible. It's just 255x more potent than the original, hence being nearly impossible to escape. However, according to Bulbapedia, a pokemon with a catch rate of 3 has a 0.4 percent fail rate at no damage/status
The Transcendent Key repliedI remember trying to catch Ho-oh with a Pokeball in Pokemon Heartgold, but sadly, I was not able to. I didn't want to use the Master Ball, but I ended up using it since I was out of Pokeballs.
