Jilly Shears repliedIt's not really as amazing as everyone says it is, though I think my perspective's just changed when I played it again recently. The only thing really unique about it is the 90s America setting and how surreal the storyline is. Other than that and the odometer HP / PP bars, it's pretty much just a Dragon Quest clone.

Well I was convinced by Projared's top 10 list of JRPGs not from Square and Earthbound was number 7 on his list.And since I liked Ness in Smash Bros I figured I should give it a try especially since I got it for free.I know it won't be as great as it's cult following claims but I think I'll enjoy it
Dracozombie repliedMaybe I was doing something wrong, but after I beat it once I never got the desire to replay it--I honestly feel a little dread at the thought of doing so. The setting and the humor weren't really enough to keep my attention gripped, and I had no connection with anyone or anything in that game.
Dio Brando replied@Dracozomibe well it depends on the person himself,before I got the game I wasn't convinced by the setting that much,but I already tried crazy RPGs like Persona and Shin Megami Tensei so I thought I should give it a shot.
At least it's something I can have fun with unlike South Park Stick of Truth which was f***ing boring
WakingDawn96 repliedI have never actually played Earthbound, but I have played Smash Bros enough to know that I'm not a huge fan of Ness or Lucas, sure I will use them but only rarely. Plus I don't like the stage they have in Brawl, I felt it was too big and that monster is what makes it even more horrible. I do not see myself playing Earthbound anytime soon.

Jilly Shears repliedOh yeah, it's pretty fun, don't get me wrong. It's still sad how EarthBound's the only game in the Mother series to get localized, but playing it again I could see some of the faults it had. It's a decent game with a lot of weird dialogue and cool references and is at least interesting enough that you want to finish it to see where it goes, but other than that it's just kind of vanilla.
Reyn repliedI honestly prefer Mother 3 to Earthbound, but that isn't to say that i didn't find EB enjoyable. The gameplay was fun for an RPG, i liked the Rolling HPodometer mechanic, and it was pretty quirky and such. It was a good game, but again, i could see the faults in it. I think M3 corrected some of its fault though. Still sucks it wasn't localized. :\

FF XV got announed 8 years ago and no realease date. Assassins creed Unity got annouced recently and has a release date THIS YEAR. wake up people, Square Enix is dead.
WakingDawn96 repliedActually Ozpin, when they started out they thought they were making the game for an older system now and so they have to redo everything when it comes to software for it to work properly on the new gen consoles and even then the new consoles just came out, and I have had a Wii U since Christmas and I am still getting used to it from what I am used to on the Wii. So think about that.
Plus, I didn't know much about XV until E3 last year because I wasn't into FF until 13-2 ca...

Shulk repliedLiterally the only reason I'm anxious for XV is so KHIII can get the team from I/II back on track. I couldn't care any less for FF ever since X, honestly. Really annoyed that they took up an FF game instead of focusing on the third numbered title in the series that got them so famous in the first place. We'd probably have KHIII by now if it wasn't for them deciding to do FFXV.

WakingDawn96 repliedPlease don't say that! The Kingdom Hearts series wouldn't be the same since the Disney movies would be totally different since The Lion King was just going into Theaters back in 1994. Plus did we really want KH on the PS1?

I haven't thought just what type of moveset I want Diancie to have. I want to make it to where I can use it and it survives in battle

WakingDawn96 repliedRight now I have Diancie at Trick Room, Moonblast, Diamond Storm, and Light Screen. I didn't know what to use so I went with Light Screen, but I might change that.
WakingDawn96 repliedWell I don't really want a Staller, I want a double attacker, meaning when I do Double Battles, I want to make it to where Diancie will help my other Pokemon deal with a certain opponent. But I'm probably not going to officially use Diancie in anything outside of in-game battles until I can get Mega Diancie.
WakingDawn96 repliedI have Pokemon X, and I know that. I'm just too busy playing other games that I own but haven't even gotten to play yet, some from three years ago, to worry about Pokemon X and Y game series wise right now.
