    @Xiro It's pretty much the same thing, I think. Book 1 seems to be all of the first arc, aside from the sidestories (Sachi, Silica, Liz, the one murder). It's all from Kirito's perspective, too.

    Hmm... I was actually thinking of getting the manga volume for Aincrad, but I might look at this. (Plus I need to finish the darn show xP)(And don't rush me about it too xP)

    (FINISHNOWDIOWEFNEWGE) The Light Novel's what the series started as, the manga and the anime came after. If you want the original story, the LN's probably the best way to go. (just be careful because the LN also has chapter 16.5)
