I fought Zeromus in Final Fantasy IV...and lasted about 5 minutes doing so. Hey, at least I tried! I'll give it another go, and if I still can't defeat him, I'll just have to level up until I'm at least in the 80's.
Dio Brando repliedYou really don't have to level up to Lv80....all you need is some good equipments and good strategy...though I understand you having a hard time as Zeromus in the 3D remake of FFIV is way harder than Zeromus in the original SNES\GBA\PSP version

And well, I was doing great in the battle, and I had cast Protect and Shell and then cast Slow on Zeromus, and I dealt 2000-5000 damage, but the stupid Big Bang attack killed me. Damn it. Dio Brando repliedWell the DS remake is generally more difficult.All bosses in the DS version are harder than the SNES\GBA\PSP versions and their strategies are also different to trick veteran FFIV players.
Also,one advice:Don't abuse summoning too much as it'll result in him countering with Flare or with more Big Bang...make sure Rosa is always standing you'll need Rosa in this fight more than ever
Make sure you haven't consumed all of your Elixers before this f...

The Transcendent Key repliedInteresting. Well, if I recall I have 5 Elixirs, also, I remember that I killed Lugae with 2 Elixirs, it was the best win of the game in my opinion!

Well dude, the best thing about the Lunar Subterrane is the fact that the different Dragons, and the Deathmask and Behemoth's give you lots of experience points, which is good to level up quickly. I already have my party in their mid-seventies, so trust me, level up a bit more.
Oh, and I got the Holy Lance for Kain. Jiraiya's Disciple repliedBehemoth is such a pain in the ass he keeps countering with maelstrom every time I use slow on him so eventually I just stopped using it and started using blink on myself. And I will level up some more thanks for the advice
The Transcendent Key repliedYour welcome! Oh yes, the Behemoth is indeed annoying, I prefer fighting Deathmask, because you can cast Stop on him and the battle is easily cakewalk from there.
