    Most hate I've seen from Hope can be applied to many JRPG characters. Honestly, the kid lost someone special to him in front of his very eyes, its expected.

    In XIII his character develops, being annoying at first but becomes much cooler in the later half of the game

    XIII-2 he was the best and most helpful character from the original cast of heroes

    XIII-3 they threw away his character development
