    I saw the Hobbit Desolation of Smaug. It. Was. Amazing. So much better than part 1, my only complaint is that they are getting ahead of themselves with the threat of Sauron, considering there's a 60 year gap between Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring. Also Smaug looks too ficticious, the dragons in Harry Potter look more realistic. But the movie was still incredible. :D

    Well, maybe not EXACTLY what happened, but he was in Dol Guldur and that is in fact why Gandalf left the company.

    Really? Cause i read the book, they never went into detail with what Gandalf did when he left Bilbo and the Dwarves, it focused entirely on bilbo and the dwarves point of view(except for when Sauron got killed by Bard), and Gandalf never told Bilbo and the others where he went when he reunited with them at the end. Unless the Silmeralion said that was what happened, since ive never read that book.

    Don't worry about not reading it. I love high fantasy, and I couldn't get into it until my third try.

    Once you get really into the Tolkien mythos, it's rather interesting. Try things like The Children of Hurin before going for the Silmarillion.

    Oh ok then. Well, ive read most of the LoTR books, and watched all the movies, so ill go for it later. My dad himself is a huge fanatic of LoTR and he never read the silmarillion, so he thought aswell as I that they added the stuff about the threat of Sauron coming close, since from the pov's in the book, there was no indication of Sauron coming back at all.

    Well Smaug was always sort of the epitome of that classic King Arthurian style Dragon, wasn't he. Makes sense for him to embody that typical Dragon stereotype, instead of trying to take on that Skyrim or HP style dragon thingy.

    Oooh yeah. xD I've only got the first game so far. I heard it only has 5 cases, and I just finished the second. It feels so short...

    The cases get longer as you go on, but it's a DS game, so yeah, it's kind of short. It more than makes up for it in substance, though. Especially over the course of the entire series.

    I got the idea they'd get longer, it still feels like it'd be too short though. ._. The story does make up for it though. I'm hoping I can get the other games soon. :D
