I finally found the reason why! It was just the console language settings! I had my PS4 on Spanish and for some reason this won't let the intro to play. I changed to English (United States) and the intro is playing just fine! Thanks everyone for your help!

You know, I think I'm going to be the only person on YouTube who is going to do a playthrough of DDD HD in Critical Mode lol. I see a lot of other people doing their playthroughs in either Standard or Proud mode, surprisingly.
BlankShell repliedDon't you have to beat the game first to unlock proud mode? Or did they change that for this version? If the former, it's a lot easier to stream what you have immediately available.
Tails replied@BlankShell, yup you have to beat the game on Proud Mode to unlock Critical Mode. Which is what I am currently doing to unlock Critical Mode difficulty. It's the reason why I haven't uploaded any DDD HD videos yet ob my YouTube channel lol. I have it unlocked for KH 0.2 but won't do that yet for chronological reasons.
@XiroReally? That's a shame. WOuld have loved to unlock a trophy for beating the game on Critical in DDD HD.

. Well, glad I won't be the only one doing a Critical Mode run. Though the only difference between his Crit run and mine is that he will do it with only the Kingdom Key/Way to Dawn keyblade while I like to show off all the different keyblades. It'd be hilarious if we started our playthroughs of DDD HD at the same time lol. -
