    Ghost is effective against Ghost because they want to show superiority. Dragon is effective against Dragon for the same reason so... Why isn't Fighting super effective against Fighting?

    Maybe, but I was thinking along the lines of martial artists overpowering one another (like Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon). Plus, Martial Artist competitions are a thing lol

    Well, different stats exist. Some fighting types are better than others. :P

    Also, it's probably this way to balance the game and not to make sense.

    Ghost is effective agains ghost because ghosts come from a different world, so those in that world know how to beat them easily, and Dragons because they're basically the strongest being, so the only thing that can kill a dragon is a dragon. I think that's the logic behind it, not to show superiority.

    After watching the master version footage of FFXV, I'm actually glad it's going to get more polishing. Hopefully they'll fix the graphics (environment, and colors don't look as good as before) and make it just a tiny bit more fluid

    oh I didn't think of it that way. Actually I was talking to another friends about FFXV and he misread the 'g' and said 'Kingslave' and he then asked 'so then those soldiers, are they like the Slaves of the King?' bwahaha. After I pointed out he read it wrong was pretty funny xD

    I like it's a FF movie unrelated to the games (for the most part) like SW was.

    It is related to the games lol. I'm led to believe that the film runs parallel to the events of Final Fantasy XV (of which is yet to be released).

    Supposedly it's only related in a "Explains stuff" way: they're making it so average audiences not familiar with FF can go see it.

    SW is Spirits Within, the second FF movie, that tried to be original and not tied to the games, and single handedly shut down Square Pictures.

    I remember that film! It wasn't related at all to any of the main series but it was quite a good film that raised a lot of questions

    It was also severely hated on release, tanked a whole film company, and hasn't had a new DVD release in five years.

    But it's a pretty damn good film, and the novel is slightly BETTER for explaining some more things.

    I like that Kingsthing (forgot how to spell it) is trying to be both SW and FF AC: Unrelated enough to be just a good fantasy film, not needing extensive video game knowledge, but tied into the game as a sort of companion piece.

    And yeah, the game is definitely really good! I can't really compare it to VII since I haven't played it, but VIII is a great game! :D
