The scene where Timon and Pumbaa do the hula to distract the hyenas would be hilarious to see remade. xD

As for a more iconic scene, probably the Circle of Life opening.

Stampede scene

On a serious note, the scene where they sing Hakuna Matata. I would love to see what Disney would do with it considering it will obviously be an entirely new set of scenes to go with the song.

How are they gonna make it live-action? Won't all be cg animated anyways? I guess ghost Mufasa in the clouds would be epic though.

http://youtu.be/y6INp3k-vFc I think this would look amazing in CG action, and plus it's one of my favorite moments in the series of The Lion King. It really does a beautiful job to show that Simba was ready to take his place in The Circle of Life and a beautiful way to end the movie, because when you think about all Simba went through to get to that moment it is just something that I find truly signals that "It is time". I can't wait to see how they make a new version of this scene happen, cause please be in the movie, as it wouldn't be the same without it.

All of the Mufasa scenes, with all of it's epicness. Hopefully they'll bring back James Earl Jones or someone with similar epicness ^-^

Is it going to be as musical as the original version?

Wait, what?  There's going to be a live action remake of The Lion King?  Well, I'll be darned! O.O

It seems Disney's hell bent on remaking every single of their Animated Classics into live action form! xD

I don't know how to feel about this, but well, I guess the scenes I'd be most hyped for would be the ones where Simba and Mufasa spend time together, all the way to Mufasa's death! That'd be heart-wrenching to see in live action!

But still, another live action remake? :O

I hope they keep  the voice actors for Timon and Pumbaa, that's all I ask! Although it would be nice to have the original cast back, there will have to be some changes made since Jonathan Taylor Thomas is older now

Can you feel the love tonight. And seeing all Nala scenes in the movie.

Yeah it's gonna be almost 100% CG but it's gonna look realistic, kinda like the jungle book

I'd get goosebumps if I saw them revive the scene when Simba becomes King of Pride Rock. To hear is powerful roar followed by the lionesses in the pride would give me chills down my spine.

I wonder if Idris Elba will be Scar? It'd be a thematic connection with the British voice actors that Scar and Shere Khan had in the animated versions?

Simba x Nala <3

And definitely the opening sequence. I hope they can top it.

Peace!

Honestly.......none cuz I don't think a live action remake would work for the Lion King

Also how is it live action when all the animals are gonna be CG?There isn't a single human being in any of the Lion King Trilogy movies

The only time there was a human in the Lion King universe was in the Timon and Pumbaa Cartoon

I am looking forward to seeing just how it all opens. I will be used to it going deeper into the film.

While I'm not excited for the film at all, I'm curious to see if they maintain the allusion to the goose step during Be Prepared.

The part where Sora Dolan and Gooby show up

Jk xD. Probably Hakuna Matata and Simba's roar at the end.

Are they really making the Lion King into a live action movie?  Disney is out of new ideas.

None, making a live action movie where none of the characters being even human is as redundant as all hell, if you can call a 100% CGI movie live action that is...

That being said "be prepared" is one of my favorite scenes in cinema ever so...

Edited by DevilSpooky

I think "Be Prepared" would be as epic as it is on stage in a live action, having that perfect balance of intensity and evil that I so love. I also have to say I'd love to see the Stampede scene, mostly because I can't resist things I know will make me ridiculously emotional.

Not too sure how I feel about it being live action... are they going to use actual animals for the scene? The powerfulness of the movie was in the anamated expressions the charas made so... oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. They better not mess up "Be Prepared", one of the best Disney villain songs imho.
