didnt know people thought its that important

I'm well aware many people don't care for it but it's one of my top 5 reasons to play a numbered KH game over any of the others

a more elaborate take on 100 acre woods you say?

Does 100 Acre Wood make or break a KH game? No, not at all. But allow me to explain why it's important. First of all, I'll be honest and say that KH1's rendition might be my least favourite world in the series; the minigames are irritating and boring and KH1's clunky controls and camera don't suit the design at all. Despite that, slowly unlocking a new world piece by piece was really neat and the land of Winnie The Pooh does have a very unique charm to it. But surprise surprise, the KH2 rendition is what truly makes me appreciate the world. The minigames are greatly improved, though honestly still not spectacular. However, something about the atmosphere and charm of the world hits me so much harder in a way I still can't fully explain. I think it's because KH2's story is on such a large scale and the seriousness is ramped up so significantly that taking the occasional break in this pleasant, gentle land with Winnie The Pooh carried heavier impact for me. Especially in the final area. When you leave the Pooh crew in KH2, it carries the feeling of potentially being a proper, final farewell. We obviously know it wasn't, but the heavy, heart warming feeling of finality is there, much like it is with the rest of KH2's story. And KH3 could have really used that as well. Besides, let's not forget the fact that KH3 does set up a plot thread regarding 100 Acre Wood in that Sora feels his connection to the bear weakening. But because it's KH3, the plot goes nowhere. When I think about why the 100 Acre Wood matters, it's not because I particularly enjoy the minigames, it's because of two other factors. The enjoyment behind working to slowly rebuild a world, piece by piece and the endless charm that comes with it.

These thoughts came off the top of my head and aren't very polished as a result, but I think I was pretty clear nonetheless

The best part about 100 acre wood in kh1/kh2 is that the minigames are based on actual episodes of the cartoon. Lumpy's introduction in kh3 felt very out of place as if they wanted to shoehorn in a new character for the sake of keeping up with the show, but they gave him no relation to the story or the minigames to justify his inclusion.

I would like to do Christopher Robin next, doing the others films would be fine but would be unnecessary.

cause its still a mysterious item as far as merlin is concerned

Would he go "Hey you're Tidus' dad!" It would be interesting since Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie are the only non KH characters that Sora has a past with.
