I usually get jokes when I bring up I'm a vegetarian, but sometimes people are too surprised. Everyone begins to interrogate me asking "Why are you a vegetarian?", "Have you ever tasted chicken in your life?" and "CHICKEN IS THE BEST HOW DO YOU NOT LIKE IT".

Well obviously those people are idiots....Bacon is the best.

They can shove bacons too.

This is kinda random, not quite sure if it's an opinion.

I am gay, but well I kinda do feel attraction to girls...

mostly for personality and then I find them physically attractive, but

vaginas scare me

xD jk. not quite that extreme

but the female body just seems weird to me and a bit unattractive .__.

~Really don't wanna make this sound like I hate girls for their anatomy or something silly like that,

hope this doesn't offend you with... lady parts

I think I understand what you're trying to say. o: I'm pretty sure you know what a romantic orientation is right? How it has the same function as somebody's sexual orientation but it's more about the people you fall in love with?

From what it sounds like to me, you seem to be homosexual but biromantic. Meaning you're romantically inclined towards both sexes.

Does that make sense? Or did I make a fool of myself by replying to this? xD

I feel like there's a double standard with people getting offended with stuff. Like, it's fine if you're offended by words like the n-word or the c-word, that's normal. But if I told you that I found the use of God's name paired with vulgar words offensive, I'd be laughed out of the room! Like, the same people who seem so desperate to not offend anybody, are so quick to pair God's name with the F- word and the like. But a lot of us Christians don't say anything because nobody cares if it offends us or not.

Maybe I'm not making sense, but I thought I'd throw that in there.

Whether they want to hear it or not, there are alot of immature people on this site and in this fandom altogether.

I don't really like anime. I don't want to make too many generalizations, because I'm sure there's an exception to everything, but I just find it doesn't do anything for me. One of the main things is the eyes: they tend to be really static, and kind of, well, dead. Most of the emotion that you can read from a person comes from their eyes, and I think that's one of the things that Disney animation has always done well: the eyes on their characters move more fluidly and actively, and can emphasize an emotional beat in a scene. Anime tends to keep their eyes more still, which I think is just a side effect of how the animation is done, as everything seems to be a little stiffer as a result of having more complicated costumes, hair, and accessories. Also, I'm more of a fan of expression emotion in a character through fluid, active movement, whereas anime seems to stress state of mind through body language and poses. Since I really don't care over much about costume design, the whole ensemble that comes with the animation style of anime doesn't work for me. It's not necessarily bad in and of itself, it's just not really my cup of tea.

Another thing (again, in general) is the storytelling. I can't make too many broad statements here, because my problems differ from cartoon to cartoon, but I just find that the way stories are told in anime just don't feel right. One thing I do feel safe in saying, however, is that the general lack of concern for NPCs, innocent bystanders, and the average guy in the street really bugs me. There can be a big fight scene in a city, and all I will be thinking is "How many people are being hurt in the process? What is the collateral damage as a result of this brawl? When the fight is over, who's going to pay for the damages? Are they putting people out of work by taking out these buildings?" And other assorted things.

So, yeah. Again, this isn't saying "Don't watch anime EVAR!!!111" I watch wrestling, so you know what? Watch whatever you like.  This is just why I'm not a big fan of anime in general.

I never understood why I just have to follow one religion, because of my family....I'm catholic and though I believe in some parts, I just feel as if I could believe in other such as Buddhist. And when I talk about it they get angry at me, because I'm not following them, I mean...I'm my own person can I believe in what I want to believe in?

You do have the right to believe in what you want to believe in as long as it's not hurting others.  Thing is, religions typically make you follow a specific code of conduct when you want to practice them.  Having multiple religions means multiple conducts and some will eventually contradict each other.  But, if you're into religion for spiritual guidance, that's a different story.  I think multiple perspectives for that sort of thing will help, even if I'm not much of a spiritual person myself.

Exactly thats the point I'm trying to my point across my parents...Well more or so my, Mom. She thinks I'm betraying Catholics, because I simply said ya know...EX "I believe in Reincarnation"..And she goes on about this and that. It's not like I said was going to go full Buddhist all the way. Erhm..Anyway enough about the rant, don't wanna stray off-topic.

Explaining it is gonna be difficult because a lot of people go into their religion under the assumption it's the absolute truth.  There are very open-minded Christians out there (some on this very site) but there are just as many that won't accept anything else.  Chances are your mom is the latter so I'm not sure how you're gonna explain it to her.  I guess the best you can do is believe what you want and try not to let them get to you.

I hate how people come up with stupid gay stereotypes. For example:

"That guy cares about his appearance? He must be gay!"

"That guy cares about fashion? He must be gay!"

"That guy watches that? He must be gay!"

"That guy listens to that?" He must be gay!"

"That girl has only friendsthataregirls?" She must be a lesbian!"

"That girl has no makeup?" Must be lesbian!"

"That girl has short hair? Must be lesbian!"

"That girl plays sports?" Must be lesbian.

and a million more to come.

Like seriously, where are these people coming up with these stereotypes.

Probably because Western society is under the impression that they have a distinct idea of what the spectrum between masculinity and femininity should be like and they drag sexuality into that.

Eastern societies too, I mean its so extreme in the eastern cultures, especially in remote villages.

Hmmm, that's strange. Because in places like Korea and Hong Kong, (not sure about the rest of China or other Asian countries) men wearing makeup or crossing dressing or doing other things that are considered traditionally feminine, aren't considered unmasculine when men do it. They're even considered normal.

And some villages in Africa, there aren't even standards for masculinity and femininity. They have binary genders of course but everything is basically unisex.

Not exactly all but there are many villages (especially in the Middle East, Southern Asia, etc.) that have very strict standards and gender roles.

Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me.
