I totally found respect for Riku after this game. I mean I liked him before in the first one and all before the second one came out, but then I was like.. "I HATE HIM"... but now I'm like "I LOVE YOU" (:

I never ever hated Riku, he was just a "yeah.. that's Riku" kind of character to me. But After I played Re:Com, I gained a lot more respect for him, and I grew to really like him! So yeah, I agree with you 100% here. And then my respect for him just grows with each game, like Days.

Yeah, I think he's the best now. I mean, what he did for Sora is just wow. (: ermm, my nerd talk is coming out ahah.

I adore him! He's so awesome. ;3;

I've always had alot of respect for Riku too, and Chain of Memories definitely multiplied that by like 7. But his whole "blindfold" phase fell flat for me. I don't know why but it just felt kinda unecessary.

riku is amazing ,i mean he is the first hero introduced in a jrpg that can wield both light and darkness,he had a rough time but he wields this awesome keyblade way to the dawn just like his last line in kh chain of memories when he talks to Diz

lol that what i thought too when i saw that scene,its like Diz shows him the only 2 paths that we knew so far that someone can take in kh as a keyblade hero and yet he discovers his own new path,way to the dawn =thats rikus style

I always thought of Riku as a villain.

I love Riku. :wub: His struggle with the darkness in KH1 made me dislike him a little bit. After Chain of Memories though me respect for him increased greatly. I think most people like him because he is the bad boy type.

I always thought that he was a whiny little sucker who was jealous of Sora until Chain of Memories.

This is how I've felt about Riku 4 the entire series:

 

Kingdom Hearts: "You're an asshole!"

COM: "Good job wising up. and MAN is your gamplay style bitchin'

Days: "Dude, quit beating yourself up"

KHII: "Srly, enough emoness (Later on: DAMN ur a beast! )

DDD: U look good with short hair, my handsome compadre.
