I remember when I first played this game, I was freaking out after this scene!

I was like, "DID THEY REALLY JUST KILL A DISNEY CHARACTER!?!?!?!?!!?"

I knew it couldn't be true--it's Goofy for goodness sake, he can't just die! That's like--against a commandment!

ha ha ha ha

Anyway, I just wanna know what you guys felt/thought/reacted right after this scene.

I knew immediately that Goofy hadn't really died, so I didn't really have a reaction... :mellow:

I didn't care about Goofy, I was more upset over Sora's reaction

I was devastated that Demyx was dead... Dude was epic ):

I thought it was a joke at first then you saw how seriously everyone was taking it (in the game, not players) and was just like "oh.... dear"

Game: oh no goofy's dead

Me: Disney would not approve of his actual death. Donald let's move on until he wakes up.

Game: Goofy's alive!

Me: Disney magic: 999,999

Logic: 0

Die you bastard!!!...lol kidding, i guess i was sad?

My reaction was pretty much the same. I was all like, "Yeah right, they can't kill goofy". Then i was all like "Wait, do I get a new partner". Then I was like "They didn't even check for his heart beat or anything. I bet he is just asleep". I was right... I'm not going to lie, I was a tad disappointed.

Satisfaction. I knew he wouldn't "die", and it helped the tone of the moment become darker.

 

It makes me wonder...Goofy was a "casualty" of a single battle. I wonder how everyone will fare once the Keyblade War is reignited. I wouldn't be surprised if Xehanort decides that Yen Sid has been training too many troublesome Keybladers...

literally the first thing i thought when goofy "died" was "what"

 

sora donald & mickeys reactions are hilarious as in overly-dramatic-buttheads-hilarious.

When that happened, I was like "Must seek justice.Must seek vengeance.Never compromise." Then Goofy show'd up all of a sudden. Talk about trolled.

What! How am I supposed to use Valor Form now?!

- "Oh my god! They killed Goofy!"

- D**n there goes Valor form

- Mickey is out for blood

- That's one p***ed off duck.

- Since when does Disney allow deaths? (feel free to correct me on this since I can't remember any)

 

After Goofy came back:

- YES!! Got Valor form back!

- Mickey is back to his happ-go-lucky self

- Knew Disney wouldn't allow a death of one of their key characters

- Why did Donald have to club him in the knee like that?

tutti frutti. Why can't anyone get it right? It's CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. Though the ones that you listed actually did hit me after that incident with Goofy, I just couldn't think of any due to what was going on in the game.

Honestly......I cracked up. It looked so funny for the first few seconds because....well Goofy has hit his head on anything and everything and it was like, oh crap Goofy when will you learn? But then I was like O.O oh shoot. Erm Goofy? Wake up please....Goofy???? NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWHHHYYYYY?!?!?!?

Finally... disney killed one of his mascots....minutes later... meh i knew he´ll survive....

I didn't even know much about Kindom Hearts to value it properly. :blink: I just knew that Disney wouldn't allow its characters to die.

Yeah, I'm just gonna wait. No way they killed a party member like Goofy forever. Or like Disney would allow to kill one of her characters anyways

I reacted exactly like Mickey did.

YES. FINALLY, HE DIES! (Maybe I can finally get a new useful party member...)

 

Too bad he didn't die. After I said that, he wouldn't cure me when I needed it.

I just remembered this....when my brother watched Goofy die he went O.o.....the heck? And after Mickey said his line my brother did the same...except a minor tweak or 2...
