The producer of the title has confirmed that the game will not appear at the Tokyo Game Show 2012, but that we look forward to it next year. This is the first time we've hear of anything with a date relating to Versus XIII in a long time, hopefully they won't let us down. Not to go off-topic, but I personally think TWEWY2 will be revealed at TGS. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn have been confirmed to appear at the TGS as well and might turn out to be a rather interesting show after all.

I know it's a pain to get stuff together for trailers and demos and whatnot, but you think they would at least give some proof that tangible progress is being made more than once a year, even if it were just a screenshot or two.

 

It makes it feel like SE's own king of Vaporware.

Im so sick of Square being so secretive about every freaking little thing, why not just tell us where FF13 Versus is at in development or something? Don't they realize they lose hype the longer they delay giving us news? Sure some people might say that this just makes us look forward to it but no, it doesn't, its just plain annoying and frankly I'm sick of waiting.

tutti frutti. Though this made what little hope I have left about Versus XIII boarderlining any hope of getting this game, I'm waiting until this year's TGS comes to past. This is mostly to see if some fat chance Square will show anything, if not give some slight information. But like what Master Juan had stated, I'm viturally done waiting for this game to come out. Waiting 6 - 7 years, if not longer, for a game that was announced is crazy. If the Versus XIII is like how Duke Nukem Forever was in terms of how bad I thought that game was, Square is in trouble. If Versus XIII is in 100% production, we should get some kind of information about the game to help tide us over.

Well considering they probably work on different projects simultaneously, and nobody has probably worked on it for the entire production's length, I doubt it

Yeah, Square is generating some pretty negative PR with this... they kidn of suck at making it seem wortwhile, and the worst part is, they don't seem to realize that. Secrecy works for a time, but you need a voice to stay relevant. If it wasn't for that cancellation rumour, we wouldn't have gotten any Versus news at all this year
