|SPOILERS| Keyblade is too overused...

Posted

At first I thought the Keyblade was only special because Sora could wield it, and then Mickey and Riku had one and I was like that's fine, and Aqua Ven and Terra had one....and then Lea.

Lea, I really love him, but Keyblade? No. His Chakrams symbolise him and now that has been taken away, Kairi shouldn't have a Keyblade either, she should be the Princess Peach of KH, the damsel in distress, defenceless. Soon Pete and Maleficent will have Keyblades...

You have to accept that there were far more of them.

Hallo, Keyblade War. *wink, wink*

Or rather:

Nomura and the fans love a character (Hi, Axelea) and that means, yes, he will be important to the story 'coz fan service is superior to plot.

Thanks for listing

Nah, the video game world has enough damsels in distress. Its about time they do something decent with her character past her role in the first game. Besides, she cant be Princess Peach in that mini skirt. I can already imagine how thatll look while she fights through hordes of heartless.

We learned in KH3D that the Keyblade is a weapon which was crafted and used to conquer the Light.

Hello? That is way more epic than before! O_O I don't think it is overused... I think it wasn't used enough, if they had used it enough they would have conquered Kingdom Hearts, but they failed xD

Two words: Keyblade. War.

Honestly, yeah, i also tought the Keyblade was special because of the first game, but right when KH2 came out, and we got the secret ending, i wouldn't be surprised with more and more keyblade wielders.

Well, we HAVE seen her panties before...

You have just shredded the last remaining innocence in my heart. ;_;

Anyway, fine with Lea having a keyblade ECSTATIC about Kairi finally fighting along the front lines! Kairi! She's a princess of heart and a light, she's so special! I love Kairi

Seems like everyones getting a keyblade these days lol, all members of all the main trios are able to wield one, whats next Hayner, Pence, and Olette becoming wielders too? haha...

Lol at the video^^^ he's going into hella detail just about her panties...

I still remember when i read the ansem report in kh1, he said only exist 2 keyblades... now with a training session with merlin you can wield one :P

I think because during the production of kingdom hearts 1 nomura spoke to someone about making the story more interesting so he fixed it up not knowing there would be a second game he made the story so it had decent closure but once how popular it was he made the story more complicated. It made sense to make alot more people wield keyblades.

Idk why people didn't see this coming it's been foreshadowed since the first game that there were muti9ple wielders.

I'm at the half way mark of accepting Lea as a wielder. Almost....there...x__x

How comes Soras wearing a crown in that video, and really does any one care about seeing Kairi's panties? :\

im fine with lea wielding a keyblade he had strong connections to roxas xion and sora so his heart was affected somehow..

Perhaps the 13 Darkness (minus Xehanort who already has one) will get their own keyblades as well seeing how it is a keyblade war... meaning there will be 22 Keyblades (the 13 plus the three trios (9))...23 if one adds Eraqus...no 24 with Yen sid...wait no 25 with Mickey...so many Keyblades...

I honestly wonder how much Lea will be using his Keyblade. I mean, I'm sure he'll have it, but he couldn't even make it materialize until the end of KH3D. Maybe he'll switch back and forth.

And you are completely off base with Kairi. There's no good reason for having her being solely a "damsel in distress" instead of her learning to defend herself. If Riku and Sora can wield the Keyblade, then explain to me why Kairi shouldn't? All three of them had the ability passed down to them by Terra, Ven, and Aqua. I would much rather have Kairi as a Guardian than as a Princess Peach character who spends her time being rescued. Instead of being a burden or something that has to be protected, she's become an asset that will help and act as one of the seven.

So far Mickey and Yen Sid are the only Disney Keyblade wielders. Pete and Maleficent aren't going to suddenly get keyblades, nor is anybody else without the similar intensive training that Lea underwent.

Normally people who state their annoyance of the number of keyblade wielders fail to remember there was a whole keyblade war with WAY more wielders than there is now fighting over Kingdom Hearts. Just cause we saw Sora with his first doesn't mean his had a copyright over it.

I agree. Axel's little spiky spinny things are HIS signature weapons!!! I could've lived not having Lea with a Keyblade.

In the first game its true that keyblades were much more special than what we might consider them to be now, but relative to the amount of new characters they really haven't upped the ratio all too much. Also...

I believe you are referring to Axel's chakrams.

is that what they're called? Sweet :)
