Posted September 3, 201213 yr At this point, it'd be silly. I REALLY hope they're not building him up for a heroic sacrifice, because that'd just be redundant at this point But honestly, I'm starting to think that's where they're going with the character. Honestly though... I can't think ANY satisfying way to conclude his character
September 3, 201213 yr If Lea dies, there'll be a swarm of angry fans waiting outside to mob Nomura with torches and pitchforks, and I'll be leading them. But in all seriousness, they better not kill him off. It was bad enough the first time when I thought he was gone from the series forever.
September 3, 201213 yr The only person I see dying in the next title is Xehanort. I doubt Lea will somewhat die, but I do believe he will somewhat do a heroic act, like saving Isa for example.
September 3, 201213 yr Omg the first time he died I cried if he dies again I don't think I'll ever play kingdom hearts again now Imma be thinking about this till kh3 lol
September 3, 201213 yr Popular Post Lea can't die. Then who would be KH13's #1 Whore? Seriously though, remember that there's no such thing as death in Kingdom Hearts. A character can always come back, even if it seems like they're gone. Look at Ansem, or pretty much all of the Organization. Edited September 3, 201213 yr by baylaust
September 3, 201213 yr In a perfect (and fairly thoughtless) world, Saix would be defeated by Sora and the gang, see the error of his ways and be revived as Isa, where at the end of the game, we'd see him and Lea in Radiant Garden, eating sea-salt ice cream. However, this is not a perfect world... And Nomura seems dead set on having his villains retain their evil personas, even after they are defeated. Plus, at this point, Nomura already has to make one of his thirteen darkness see the light (Terra) and may have to make at least one more (depending on who the other members are revealed to be), so I think it's safe to say that Xigbar (who's been a villain throughout the entire series) and Saix will leave their lasting image as villains. And thus, Lea may return to Radiant Garden and eat sea-salt ice cream alone... Or exchange numbers with Ven, so they can hang out again sometime in the near future. Because one has to wonder, if Lea can hang out with the real thing, would he really still settle for Roxas (or half of Sora) Edited September 3, 201213 yr by Imagination in Progress
September 3, 201213 yr I doubt Lea's going to die, if he does then I think it would make everything that's happened to him and what he's done all for nothing

A character can always come back, even if it seems like they're gone. Look at Ansem, or pretty much all of the Organization. Well yeah but all those people were able to come back under certain conditions (Time travel, being a nobody) and Lea is a human, Ansem and Org. XIII wern't. But I still don't think he's going to die, they wouldn't do that twice to a character, plus since he's so loved by the staff, and fans they couldn't.

I don't even trust Nomura anymore. He's successfully ruined everyone's death, all in one game.

September 3, 201213 yr Lea can't die! He and Roxas and Xion (once they somehow magically become their own people) need to get together and eat ice-cream first! And maybe then Lea can die from Diabetes after eating too many ice-creams
September 3, 201213 yr I think Lea won't die... He surely will fight Isa/Saïx in KH3, or at least I hope so (it would be an epic battle).
September 3, 201213 yr I dont think Lea ever dies. Usually bad guys will face that fate in Kingdom Hearts and Lea is 100% allie of Sora and others. Edited September 3, 201213 yr by replika13
September 3, 201213 yr well it might be a heroic sacrifice, or xhenort could do somting like "if i go down, you go down with me"
September 3, 201213 yr I doubt they'll kill Lea off. He's a major character now, and Axel already did the whole sacrifice-for-Sora thing in KH2, it would get a bit repetitive. Plus people never die in Kingdom Hearts, they 'fade into darkness' or something like that which he's already done as a Nobody. I think he's back for good. At least I hope so
September 3, 201213 yr Lea won't die .They already killed him off before . Why be redundant ? Plus to be honest they have been building his character up more and more to the fact that Nomura himself called him a main character . I doubt he would kill him off .It's too much work to flush down the toilet and we all know how many pissed off fans there would be ! I know I would be .He is a far cry from a cookie cutter character who is just along for the ride . He's one of a kind and there is much more that can be done with him . He's one of the very few I'm attached to in this series bc I feel he's had such a tragic story with such little happiness. He deserves happiness for once and its time he gets it .
September 3, 201213 yr Seriously though, remember that there's no such thing as death in Kingdom Hearts. Tell that to Repliku! ;A;
September 3, 201213 yr Lea will go live a blissful life with Xion and Roxas on clock tower eating ice cream.

A character can always come back, even if it seems like they're gone. Look at Ansem, or pretty much all of the Organization. Pretty sure a lot of Disney villains have died. But anyways, I'm less talking about the prospect of his death (And inevitable revival) as opposed to the fact that I feel they are setting Lea up for ANOTHER heroic sacrifice, or some such. That's what worries me Lea won't die .They already killed him off before . Why be redundant ? Well I personally feel like they've been building his character DOWN with each game but that's another topic entirely To me, it feels like Lea is headed to another heroic sacrifice. That's just what his mannerisms and such imply to me. But the worst part is, it'll be doubly redundant if they kill him, because he'll inevitably be revived, or it'll turn out her survived all along

It would be like recycling a storyline.I think for once we might see a happy ending for Lea since his story is so tragic. It would be infuriating if everything about this characters story was pain, loss, and sadness without any happy resolution to tie it up . Besides i think the first time he sacrificed himself it was to help redeem his character .There would be no purpose to sacrifice his character again. At this point he's had to save Sora too many times if he had to do it ...Another sacrifice would make Sora look weak (which hes not ).. It's too repetitive and would make the storyline look weaker and disatisfying, especially for the last game in the saga. Edited September 3, 201213 yr by Flaming Lea

Because we know KH is completely against recycling But see, your points are correct. Doing this would be terrible. That's why I don't want them to do it. But KH is not the most well written piece out there... a lot of decisions come down to 'the fans want it' or 'it was cool when we did it last time'
