Only if it was done right then yes..

  • Not exactly a movie. I have wanted a TV series for quite some time. They could do 1-2 episodes per world and do every game, but not everyone likes that cuz they think it'll ruin the game

A tie-in between both the Xehanort Saga and the 2nd Saga would be good :].

Every normal people in the Eart WANT these movie :) .

Only in CGI but other than that oh god no.

i say it should be dircted by the guy who direts the voice acting in the games.

and it should not be unanimated. there is no one in real life that can look like roxas or sora.

it should be like the whole game in cutscenes that include the boss fights.

p.s. i didnt think the last airbender was THAT bad. sure it was bad but it didnt suck ass.

kh movie would kick ass if they went with what i listed above.

Jesse Mc Cartney actually does look like Roxas. All he needs is some Roxas hair style and he is good to go.

The Last Airbender could be so much better. It's the mistakes that they made is what make's it suck ass.

- Aang doesn't smile once in the movie. In the actual show Aang is a very happy kid.

-Aang is pronounced ang. Not ahng.

-Waterbenders are not white.

-Firebenders are not Indian.

-Firebenders create their own fire. They don't have to have fire near them to bend.

-Haru is a young man. He's a kid in the movie.

-They skipped the entire plot throughout the movie (understandable considering this IS a movie)

-Zuko has his hair up.

-Iroh is pronounced eye-roh

-Sokka is pronounced saw-kah. Now su-ka.

-Aang looks like a firetruckin Jedi with that freaking robe on.

I could continue, but I am going to get really frustrated so i'll leave it at here.

The movie was so bad I was going to commit seppuku.

Only if it's done right. I did have a small thought of an Organization XIII movie set in the real world.

Just no.

Unless they can pull it off right, and the chances of that are slim.

Uh... no. A voice director is not the same as a movie director. They don`t have the same qualifications

it should be like the whole game in cutscenes that include the boss fights.

... do you know how long the cutscenes for KH2 last?

Seriously, look it up

As long as it isn't like advent children then im good

Maybe? Wouldn't be as good as the games

Nah. I'd prefer it stays as a game series and not get muddled around in a movie format.

Were pretty much getting a Days movie with the HD ReMix anyway.

Don't forget the group of Earthbenders were trapped on solid earth http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png

And the terribly slow effects... and bad acting.... and no one had the personality of their characters.

It'd be more fun to give the story of Kingdom Hearts to multiple directors and see how they all handle it.

Seriously, how amazing would it be to have Martin Scorsese direct Kingdom Hearts? Or Eastwood? Peter Jackson?

I think they could successfully pull off a Kingdom Hearts film so long as they don't try to cram too much into a 2-hour film. I also think they would need to focus on one of the actual games rather than a spinoff. For instance, I enjoyed Advent Children simply because I love the cast of characters. Other than that the film didn't have a whole lot going for it. The plot was too muddled and felt last-minute, so I think unless you were a huge (and I'm talking HUGE like me) Final Fantasy VII fan that you couldn't truly appreciate the film. If a Kingdom Hearts film was put together in this manner (which it likely would be), then I have mixed feelings over it. I probably would enjoy it as I had Advent Children--if only to see the characters in high quality for a couple hours--but other than that I don't think it'd have very much going for it.

So...my overall answer: it depends on how they'd do it. I probably would still like to see it regardless though.

If they made a animation, with KH style from the games, it would be awesome. But one with actors... just the idea terrifies me. I'd avoid that, it's too easy to screw everything up...

Not exactly a movie. I have wanted a TV series for quite some time. They could do 1-2 episodes per world and do every game, but not everyone likes that cuz they think it'll ruin the game

Why is it that when ever the KH movie idea gets brought up the general assumption is that it'll be live-action?

KH really doesn't need a movie but if they were to make one there are two ways I could see it working:

1)It's not a direct adaptation of any of the games but rather a tie in or a sequel akin to Advent Children. e.g If they were to show the time between BbS and KH1 I wouldn't mind it being in a movie or episodic format because the time frame would be so jarring.

2)This is probably the least popular idea because for some reason people get extremely but hurt if an adaption isn't EXACTLY like the source material, but let's face it. It's impossible to make an adaptation transferring medias and have it be exactly the same. It's unfair really and it can be a particular challenge when making a movie adaptation based on a game and KH is no exception. The first game for instance is 25hours at the minimum and that's rushing through it. There's no way that they can compress the story into a movie that'll be 2hours at most. Which is why I think they should just over haul it. Let whomever's working on it re-imagine it however they like as long as it's still recognizable as KH instead of forcing it to try and stay as close to the games as possible. Which is impossible.

I don't see how a KH movie could ever work. Considering the whole traveling to disney worlds thing.

It all depends who directs it and how much money is going to take to make the movie as good as possible.

I'd love to see one day KH as a movie hit theaters.

Maybe. I would just be afraid that it would be no good and ruin peoples idea of KH forever.

Maybe

A movie based of a video game can be pretty bad.

Nomura shouldn't do it.

I'd like a trilogy showcasing all the current games storylines, with cool fighting scenes like advent children's :3

It would be beneficial also when moving onto a new game and being able to recap on all the stories with a few hours of a movie, rather than playing a whole game (when I play a game, even after completing it I play to 100% completion so it would take a fair amount of time)
