When creating a custom game character, which gender do you usually play as?

 

 

Usually Male characters, and you?

I usually use a female character.

I prefer to design it as myself, and kick butt! >83

although there are some times where when I was little I would pick female characters for my pokemon games.

If given the option, I usually play as a female character. I dunno why, I just do. I guess because so many of my favorite horror games have female protagonists, so I've just stuck with it even when given the option for genders. lol

 

Unless it's Pokemon. I always play through as the male option first, and then on subsequent playthroughs play as the female MC. Again, dunno why. I just do.

Normally male, because it allows me to identify with the character.

Normally female but I tend to change it up every so often.

Male. Because then I don't have to wear stupid girl clothes in my fake life, too.

Female, which I am in real life.

I pick the male character, and when i get bored/ beat the game, i make a new file with a female character

But I always used to like choosing the male character, 'cause they looked far better than the females and sometimes the females were forced to wear skirts/dresses and such... so I went for guy characters. :L

It really depends on my mood, like a lot of other things. Although most of the time it depends on character design.

Generally the first play through will be male as I like to try and create myself in games. Instead of trying to be solely good or evil I make my choices based on how I would actually make them.

 

All other playthroughs after that (discounting if I restart my first game for some reason) I'll opt for a female character.

 

If I'm going to be sitting down, staring at some characters ass for hours on end, it might as well be a female character's. Besides that though, I sometimes find the story more engaging if the character is female. I don't know why, I'm not a feminist or anything. I guess it's just the overabudance of giant muscular men saving the day that we see in games getting old after a while. Watching a girl kick serious ass is usually more entertaining unless the female character is annoying/poorly designed/has a bad voice actor/ a mary sue.

I usually take females the idea of a female kicking butts makes me go crazy. In fact when I play Wizard class female only but when I play fighter class then usually male but again I may take female just for fun. The problem is I like playing only wizards and in the MMORPG i play in the males of the race I like are well....not and very manly so I take the female cause 1st)Every armor suits them and their hot 2nd) Males of this race are ugly (I'm talking about Lineage II and Elf race if anyone knows....)
