The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, releasing on November 22, 2012, has contained a small article on Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- with the co-director of the series, Tai Yasue. Thanks to hokanko-alt, remoon and sqexgal, we know some small details about the article, which can be read below. We'll update you when more details appear.

- Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- development is 80-90% complete.
- They are looking into including an additional special feature when you clear the game, but it won't be a secret movie.

I would love it if they would let you re-fight certain bosses, I was kinda sad when I only got to fight Xemnas once.

I can't imagine what the "special feature" could be...

only new cups in the arena or a "special mode"...I really don't know >_<

but maybe something you'll get a trophy for...

nope voice acting is done first in Kingdom Hearts as well as many other animated films/games... It`s probably marketing or working out bugs and stuff, most likely its business stuff..

 

Guys I don`t think it`ll be coming to NA mainly because it`s almost complete and usually the game would have been announced for NA/EU already... just keep your fingers crossed!

Okay, I don't know what da fuss is all about for Nomura to play of the american fans against the japanese ones. Why don't he follows Capcoms example for multi lingual releases.

 

Square usually shows the release date for the Japanese release first, and once that is out they tell us the NA/EU release date. Calm down. Don't get upset about it not coming over to the west unless Nomura says it himself.

i dont think it well take long for us to get it not like they well go and make a English voice thell just keep the jap voice add English sub and change the text to english

Not necessarily. It depends on what Nomura means in terms of completion. If they are simply done programming, voicing, animating, enhancing that sort of thing, there's still the process of getting the game finalized, creating packaging, getting it re-rated, There are quite a few steps after 'completion'

Now, if he means complete as a whole, then yes, the game will be on store shelves very soon

Even though they are almost done, SE must be waiting for a perfect upcoming gaming event or something where they would announce the game. Then again it's just what I think...

There better be a way to transfer a PS2 save file to the HD release. I spent forever and a half to get all of my abilities,weapons, accessories, and armor. Even if its a New Game + that would be challenging enough to alow the transfer would be perfectly acceptable for me.

it will be hard for everyone who spend a lot of time to get everything, but it's like a new game and you have to do all again...even if you start a new game with your PS2 version

 

only PSX save files are transferable from PSP to PS3 and vice versa, but not PS2

 

 

Well I see no reason why they wouldn't simply take the English voices already done and use those. Isn't that what the original KHFM did in Japan anyway? If not, that would make 1.5 the first English release of a KH game with Japanese voices.

 

actually, if you can find it, there is an adapter for the ps3 that released years ago that allows you to copy your ps2 save files to the ps3. even so, it won't work with the HD re-releases

Square Enix never used Japanese voices for a release in the west

always English voices with subs

the only exception is Star Ocean International for PS3 which has even German, French etc subs on the Japanese version...a true international version

ah...and before I forget it...Last Remnant for PC has Japanese, too

 

 

technically it would be possible to make all 4 dubs available (Epic Mickey 2 has 6 in the EU version), but we all know Square....they won't do it

in case of FFXIII they said that Japanese AND English would be possible and they will think about to make both available, but in the end it was only with English voices

the ones who wanted Japanese voices with English subs had to import the Chinese/HK version

 

the FMs of KH had English voices because English is the native language of all Disney films, cartoons etc

 

and I don't worry about English voices for ReMIX and it doesn't matter to me if there will be Japanese voices in the west release or not

I want the dub in my language back!!!
