IGN has put together a video detailing the contenders for their “Game of the Year” award for the 3DS.  I'd thought that I can make a thread where the members (that's you guys) vote on which 3DS title deserves to be in 3DS Game of the Year (as well as for other games too on the Ps3, Wii, and Xbox 360). You can vote in the voter's poll above. Which 3DS title do you think should be 3DS GOTY?

Just a hunch, but I think KH3D will get the most votes. 

Torn between Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance and Ocarina of Time 3D but I voted for KH3D in the poll anyways

 

but wait didn't Oot 3D come out last year o.o can it still be a game of the year if it came out last year o.O

As much as I love Kh3D, I think Kid Icarus Uprising was better The amount of content on that game is staggering, and the multiplayer is fun.

Voted for OoT, though it was a tough between that or KH3D.

We all like other games but...it's kind of obvious KH will get a lot of votes.

Yeah, Kid Icarus: uprising is awesome. Though I'm stuck between voting for that or Resident Evil: Revelations. I mean they both had the best gameplay, single player, online multiplayer, and graphics. They both pushed the 3DS to the max imo.

Honestly I think Kid Icarus will win. It is just such a beautiful game.

 

Also for just normal game of the year I think Dishonored, Far Cry 3 and Mass Effect 3 are all contenders for the main GOTY.

 

I saw Hotline Miami in that video. Such a wonderful, tricky game. Hopefully it gets somewhere near the top.

I voted for KH3D because I am a bigot, but to be honest I think that the osaka team could have done alot better with the game. There were several rather serious problems.

Asking this on a KH forum... logic prevails.

 

Anyway, was a tough choice considering I really do like OoT3D (not that it even came out this year?), but I chose KH. ... Obviously.

I think I'll vote for KH3D because meow wow it had incredibly gameplay. I loved the Drop gauge and Flowmotion. 

Kid Icarus: Uprising and Kingdom Hearts 3D are two of my favorites, but one of my favorite games I've played my whole life, Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure is my favorite game on the system. It's highly underrated.

Theatrythm Final Fantasy? But yeah, my favorite game all year.

I have a good chunk of these games (9, I think) and KH3D is by far the best in my opinion. Best graphics, best story. Kid Icarus is a close second and I dont really think OoT should count since it came out in 2011. Also, Kingdom hearts is one of the only 3DS games I ONLY play with 3d on. And I can do it for hours. Some of the others are difficult to keep it on at times, especially kid icarus due to the awkward-ish control set up, it's hard to keep the system straight and not mess up the image. Paper mario sticker star was also a lot better than I expected it to be too, but still no match for KH3D.

Uprising

 

Hey, KH3D was alright, but Uprising seem to be a bit more...fun

 

Although kh3d did have more of a story than Uprising and Uprising's multiplayer was ooooh my god <3333

As much as we all love Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], we all must admit The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a better game. It was game of the century after all.

I vote for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, not just because I'm a diehard fan of Kingdom Hearts, but because it was an impressive game.  The story was amazing and the graphics were excellent and the soundtrack and boss battles were spectacular, not to mention the agonizing difficulty and countless screaming and cursing at the 3DS when losing against Ansem's Second Form.  But in all seriousness, KH3D is the strongest contender.
