I don't want time travel. Even though it may sound like a good idea, any alter in the past, present or future will screw everything up. I mean I'd love to go to the past and do things I wish I started early or do things I regret doing and so forth. But the past is past and Time Travel is too powerful for any human being. I hope it doesn't exist... cause KH might not exist if someone screws the space time continuum! D:

It's possible but that's not something I'd like to have everyone know about, there's always the chance of it becoming a weapon for evil

I'm a big Doctor Who fan and the concept always fascinated me, but I don' t think it's possible. I'm no expert but I don't think time is "saved" like a document on a computer that can be later accessed and if an event has yet to occur, I don't think you would be able to go into the future as nothing is there yet. 

 

But hey, I'm probably wrong. We do a lot of our things in our daily lives today that our ancestors 100 years ago would of thought to be impossible. For all I know, my descendants will learn about say, Napoleon, by going back in time to watch one of his battles. 

 

If Time Travel is ever accomplished, I think we should strictly be observers, unable to alter the timeline in anyway. 

Naw, I believe everything in time happens for a reason and if we were to change anything that was meant to happen, it could mean the apocalypse.

I wish it would happen, but then again maybe not. It would be nice to fix the things that happened in the past, but it would just cause chaos. Mankind is known to abuse any kind of power...

No, it just isn't possible.  There's several problems in the theory of time travel, one of them being the possibility of changing the past and changing who you are.  Not to mention what's passed has passed; there just isn't any way to realistically go back and change it.

Doubtable. Even if it were possible, it would be extremely problematic, especial with paradoxes.

It is already difficult enough to transfer an object/mass from one place to another instantaneously(though not impossible), but it is a completely different thing to transfer a body across the passages of time.Think about it, when you want to transfer something, there has to be a sort of medium through which it will go right? What medium is there for time? What are you going to send the object through to get into a position where you can move across time?

One reason why time travel will never happen and I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet: There would already be and already have been time travelers coming to our timeline and we would of known about it already. Just the fact that we are asking if it will ever happen is proof that it never will.

That would really seem as a tabu.

 

Time isn't meant to be played with, and probably there would be consequences for those who try.
