Do you think the Organization was evil with what they were trying to do? Do you think it was right for Sora to destroy them? Were they simply innocently trying to restore their Hearts, or were they being malicious? What do you think?

 

Personally I think that they are evil but should be pitied... they didn't really have much choice when the alternative is to "fade into nothingness".

 

Oh, and try to give reasons instead of simply saying that they shouldn't die because you liked a certain character.

Well you know, it was fine that they wanted hearts, but the thing in the end was they weren't after their own hearts--they were going to take whatever heart they could, in turn stopping others from ever receiving their hearts.

They weren't evil to me. They wanted Hearts. They were turned into Nobodies or born as Nobodies without a real explanation as to what was going on. They were trying to retrieve their Hearts instead of fading into nothingness.

Honestly, I think most of them were just obeying Xemnas and going alone for the ride, except Axel, he's the rebel of the rebels.

There's several ways to look at the situation, but here are the facts:

The Organization was trying to get their hearts back. There's nothing wrong with that.

However, they were going about it the wrong way. Sora tried to stop them from spreading heartless.

A majority of the organization were going for this goal. They didn't neccesarily want to hurt people, but they did.

Marluxia wanted to take over the organization. I don't know if he was planning on ever getting his heart back.

Axel was originally with the organization, but rebelled after roxas left.

Roxas knew what they were doing was wrong.

Xemnas didn't care about anyone else in the organization, he just wanted to create another dimension and get his heart back. With or without everyone else.

If anyone's evil, it's Sora. He KILLED a bunch of Org. 13 members because they got in his way. He didn't care what he was doing. The first thing he did after he killed Demyx was ask who wanted to be next. O_O He actually WANTED to kill. Org.13 didn't even intentionally hurt anyone. They didn't kill anyone either.

the only evil -and I use this term lightly- one is Xemnas but as for the others they're just following orders so they can be whole again. But then Sora comes along and is all "oh no more moster looking thingies I gotta kill them and the ones that made them so they can't get their hearts back" Sora needs not to meddle in situations that aren't his to butt into.

I don't think they were evil. Everyone in the Organization EXCEPT Marluxia, Xemnas, and maybe Saix just wanted hearts...

 

I don't really think it was right for Sora to destroy all of them, but he didn't have much choice in Castle Oblivion. But for the rest, no... he shouldn't have destroyed them except for Xemnas.

 

I think Xemnas didn't care about getting a heart, he just wanted the extreme power of Kingdom Hearts. He would take all the hearts for himself when the time came, even if all the Organization was still there.

 

And Marluxia... all he wanted was to rule Castle Oblivion, and possibly the rest of the Organization.

The ends don't justify the means. The intent of Organization XIII was fine, they wanted to become whole. In the end, they were villainous. They had varying degreees of actual evil in them, the lowest probably being Demyx and Roxas. Roxas is the only innocent member, since he was just being used.

Even with Demyx, he started the fight with Sora, after Sora and co. realized he didn't have a heart. Every other organization member is very distinctly sinister. Axel has severe murderous impulses in KH2, and kidnaps Kairi so he can turn Sora into a heartless. Xemnas was easily the msot evil, for obvious reasons. Xigbar was basically his second in command, he did a fair amount of evil things in the Disney worlds. Xaldin was also pretty evil with Beasts Rose. Vexen was evil and scheming, manipulative way. Lexeaus wsn't that bad, but he foguht Riku and tried to convert him to darkness. Zexion is somewhat ambiguous, since he stays in the background most of the time, but he seems to be in the same vein as Vexen. Saix is very simply evil, all his scenes show this. Chain of Memories showed how evil Larxene and Marluxia were, and Luxord, the throwaway member, was also somewhat evil, in his limited screentime.

So yes, the Organization is evil.

i think they're evil... they kill anyone that get's in their way and plots to overthrow Xemnas in RE Com... They even kill each other...

I think it's only Xemnas, seeing how he wanted to use Kingdom Hearts to rule all of the worlds. But the others just wanted a heart. It makes me feel bad about killing the members who didn't annoy me...

They want to be whole people. That goal isn't evil. Their MEANS of doing it (attacking people, unleashing Heartless across the worlds) is quite evil. As in personally, the only truly evil member is Xemnas, who only wants Kingdom Hearts to gain the most powerful force in the universe under his control.

 

And to those saying that Sora/Riku are evil for killing them without knowing them...

 

Xemnas: I really don't need to go into detail about what he did.

Xigbar: He turned a peacefull dragon into a Heartless for Sora to kill, and tried to kill Sora in their next meeting.

Xaldin: Kidnapped Beast's rose, tried to make him a Heartless, and tried to kill Sora.

Vexen: Made a Riku Replica to f*** with Sora's mind, made him think his best friend turned evil, and tried to kill him.

Lexaeus: Tried to force Riku to join the darkness, after defeat, tried to kill him.

Zexion: Manipulated Riku, told him that everyone he cared about was gone, and it was his fault, made him think Sora was against him, and tried to kill him.

Saix: Really? Do I need to say?

Axel: Tried to kill Sora at Castle Oblivion, kidnapped Kairi, and wanted to turn Sora into a Heartless.

Demyx: Kidnapped the Olympus Stone, and tried to kill Sora, despite Sora (maybe not clearly) giving him a chance to leave.

Luxord: Pitted an undead Heartless against Sora, took the Aztec treasure, and tried to kill Sora.

Marluxia: Jesus, I'll need another comment for him.

Larxene: Helped manipulate Sora, threatened to destroy *Kairi's* charm, heavily injured him twice, and tried to kill him the second time.

 

They were hardly innocent.

With luck, we can bring Roxas back into our fold, but even if Sora should awaken, as the hero of the Keyblade, he is bound to keep unlocking hearts. If he should come to target us, we need simply subdue him and use his powers ourselves once more. I must become one with Kingdom Hearts. I will become a higher existence. All of my true ambitions begin there.

 

Xemnas' KH was fake anyways, and his true ambitions are rather vague. It really depends on whose ambitions he's acting upon: Terra's, or Master Xehanort's.

Braig is EVIL, as proven in BBS.

Vexen's more bordering on the insane side imo.

Zexion was a loyal member of the Org, and he just wanted his heart back.

Saix was just a bit more...desperate than the others. He wanted a heart more than anyone else.

 

Everything else, I pretty much agree.
