DISNEYNah.  Although that is what drew me to it when I was little.

I like the gameplay, I don't really like turn based RPGs so KH was right up my alley.  I also like the fact that it's not incredibly gorey.

I love the Action-RPG styled gameplay. It's different from any other game I know.

final fantasy, disney & tetsuya nomura

Everything

The storyline is great, gameplay is always really fun and original, and it can still have a lot of humorous moments alongside dark ones, which is a nice balance, I like to think.

What draws me is the crazy story

The collaboration between Disney and Final Fantasy are what makes Kingdom Hearts was really interesting... :D

Square and disney working together

the story the timelss loveable characters the perfect ballance between not being to light or to dark the epic piano opening themes and during boss fights and of course the amazing gameplay makes it so you just can't help but fall in love with this series

I actually made a ten minute video based on this question... Should I share it, or just summarize it?

Keyblade.

Came for the weird ass Disney/Final Fantasy crossover.  Stayed for the characters and the concepts.

At least I would like to see it : )

I think KH has great characters and story and I like the gameplay. For me it's not that important that there's disney worlds and ff characters, even though I don't mind having them there either.

Kairi. Just... Kairi

The unique characters and plot, the depth and the level of dark it maintains as a series.

The over the top gaming mechanics and consistently changing concepts.

The overall development shown by sora and riku as characters. :D

Maybe its difficulty has something to do with it. <_<

The so called "confusing" story.

This ....and my love for Axel/Lea :3

The worlds, the action RPG gameplay, the story, and everything else.

Personally i love the Quite confusing story-line (made by the creator of FF what do you expect) mixed with the charactor progression and the cross overs of Disney and Final Fantasy characters And i think the game-play style of Action RPG makes a great impact with including the party system with disney characters and you, all together packed into one large package makes KH one of the best Game series i can say i have the honor of loving

One word: Childhood.

To elaborate, kingdom hearts was my first TRUE 3D action "rpg". (Light Crusader and your isometric camera!) I grew to love it's quirky platforming, the story captivated me, and I just generally found it fun. I liked the idea of a somewhat sentient weapon that chooses its master, especially since this weapon was also useful as a tool. Another thing that I liked about KH was that all the minigames you control your character as you normally do, so it didn't actually break any immersion in the game. I liked the gummy ships, sometimes I would fly from world to world even when I could warp to them. Now when looking at the game I see it's age, but its still a major part of my childhood.

Especially the music and Disney. Gameplay also ofcourse.

I love that this game is a mixture of Final Fantasy characters and Disney characters and their worlds. Then on top of that Tetsuya Nomura created Sora, Riku and Kairi and other characters which are also loving and fun to have. I like the type of gameplay also and the story and especially the Keyblade. That moment when Sora first had a wooden sword and then gets his hands on Keyblade on Destiny Islands for the first time was beautiful. Oh and not to forget, I also love the songs of this game. Simple and Clean being my favorite.

If you say it out loud, kingdom hearts sounds the most weirdest game in the world, a guy with a key as weapon that travels disney world with Donald and goofy?

I have no word to explain why it is so great, you just need to play to understand that ;)
