Since its been at least 10 years since the events of Kingdom Hearts BBS, will Ventus and Aqua have aged at all the next time we see them? I don't know if time works differently in the Darkness that Aqua's in or in CO either.

 

I don't ask about Terra because I have no idea where he is at all in the series. Idk if he's a Seeker or just lost.

Ven is basically in a coma or stasis without a heart and hasn't aged at all as shown in DDD . Aqua hasn't aged much bc time passes differently in the realm of darkness. What was over a decade to the people in the realm of light could only be monthes to Aqua

From what I've seen, like in the scene with Aqua talking to Ansem the Wise in the Realm of Darkness and the scene showing Ventus at the end of KH 3D, it appears that they haven't aged much, if at all.However, it seems like the writers tried to give a little bit of an explanation for that in KH 3D. Riku mentions to Joshua that many worlds have either slower or faster flows of time than other worlds.After all, if you look at Birth By Sleep, Ventus first arrived in the Land of Departure shortly after Sora was first born. But the next time we see Sora, he's already 4 years old. This is odd because Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all look to be the same age that they were when Sora was first born.This may suggest that the flow of time in the Land of Departure is much slower than the flow of time on the Destiny Islands.

 

It would also appear that Terra, or at least his body, HAS aged. Since Xemnas is supposed to be his body, he does look to be many years older.Perhaps that suggests that Radiant Garden and the World that Never Was have a similar time flow to the Destiny Islands.Or perhaps the creators realized that they messed up the timeline and tried to make a reasonable excuse for it.The world may never know.

There was a scene with Aqua talking to Ansem the Wise, after his machine exploded in KH2, and she didn't seem to have aged at all, so it seems time flows differently in the Realm of Darkness. There are more evidence that support this theory.

Ven was shown in the end of KH3D, and it was quite a small scene. He was also considerably far from the camera (our point of view) but it sure seemed he hadn't grown up. If that'd confirmed, it's due to his come state he has been this 10 years.

You didn't ask about Terra, but there's also a chance he hasn't aged, since while in 'Nobody state', no one seems to age.

Time flows more slowly in the RoD, the end of BBSFM shows her wondering across Cinderella's castle, which fell into darkness basically before KH1 so 10 years would have passed on the outside with barely any time passing on the inside of RoD.  Also you see her at the end of DDD, she hasn't aged at all.  Presumably they'd use the reason that Ven was in a Coma and unable to age.  Same would apply to Terra I believe, he was possessed so naturally once revived he'll be the same age he was before he was possessed.  

If anything Aqua will have aged a few months, but nothing that'll produce a noticeable difference.  

In the KH universe, no one ages after their 20's.  Characters like Yen Sid and DiZ were born old. Only Master Xehanort was able to age like us because time travel.

Actually people do age when they are Nobodies, as seen with Ienzo/Zexion, which gets consumed by the darkness as a child, but when his heart, and Nobody become one again, he already is a adult.

The same could go for Lea and Isa. Which by the time of BBS, where just teens/pre-teens, but we see them as adults when they are Nobodies, and  when they return to being a whole being. The same applies to Braig, which is seen as quite young, when he is a whole being for being swallowed by the darkness, but when he returns to being a whole being, he as the same old appearance, as when he was a Nobody, though this could be attributed to Xehanort's Heart which is in him.

 

Aqua probably hasn't aged, since the time of flow seems to be different in the Dark Margin, that is if times even flow there, and it is not something like the future era, in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky. While Ven is in a comatose state, which seems to be keeping him from aging, for some reason. So from the original trio, the only one who may had aged is Terra, unless Nomura throws at us a Ven-like explanation, and makes that Terra haven't aged, because his heart was "dormant", inside of Terranort/Xehanort/Master Xehanort. Though if he looks like when Xehanort, made him and the other apprentices, fall into darkness, he wouldn't have aged that much.

Terra should come back as the same age and wearing the same clothing and all (looking the exact same way he did before Xehanort hijacked his original body), by any means necessary.

Thats a good theory, however, I don't believe that it is correct.  She says she was wandering for endless hours, I think that might mean a week's time, or perhaps (more likely), that years past by.  We won''t know for certain until the game comes out though probably.

What about Leon? I thought I saw he was 20 in KH or something....Eh, oh well XDD

I will be stunned if Aqua had long hair and i see no change in Ventus's appearence.

Terra was taken by Xehanort so he probably won't age. Ven has been sleeping the whole time and we saw him at the end of 3D and he hadn't aged at all. And Aqua we know doesn't because of the BBS secret ending. Probably because time doesn't really pass in the RoD. Maybe if Roxas and Xion come back they'll have aged a bit but only has much has Sora has aged.

Well I know time flows differently in the Realm of Darkness, so Aqua won't age. Well, she will age but just a bit. As of Ventus...I have a theory that people without hearts can't grow...but I still need more clues to confirm that.
