I hope they find a new song as good as "Simple and Clean" and "Sanctuary". As much as I love these songs, I think they should get a new Main theme. That's what they did for KH2. Wish they still had Utada. She has a beautiful singing voice

Maybe. If they can't have Mrs. Utada sing a new song, maybe they could ask to use one of her older ones, like Final Distance.

She felt like she wasn't getting paid enough, so she quit. Those cheap fools. If they replace her, I hope they replace her with someone who has her talent, and not the typical high-pitched woman they get to sing for any vanilla anime. 

 

Also they can re-use what they have, but she won't make new songs for them.

Reading through more of it, it sounds like she thought the work of making two versions of the songs caused a lot of strain. Since she would actually modify the melody to match the translation.

I understand your concern. Because this is THE BIG 3. This isn't something they can mess up. They need to find a song that can live up to fans expectations.

 

If the song isn't done by Utada I know people will complain regardless of how good the actual song is.

I think it would be weird to change the opening and ending song. Its Kingdom Hearts staple theme song. Everyone knows what it is when they hear it, and what its from. Its in every KH game. I think it should stay. It only makes sense, why change it now? Thats just me though.

I agree and disagree, really.  While I think a new song would be fantastic, I'm very partial to Simple and Clean, especially since it reminds me so greatly of the original game.

This. SaC was introduced in KH1. Sanctuary was introduced in KH2. I'd like a new song at this point.

 

HOWEVER

 

If they can't find a song as good as the first two, they should just stick with the first two.
