Do you think that there will be a KH III Final Mix?

Posted

I mean it could be very possible for a Final mix to happen because this will be a numbered title. And all the numbered title KH games get a Final Mix. Plus the fact that the English version of a numbered title KH game ALWAYS gets more content than the original Japanese version. I mean sure the PS4 will be a more powerful console and there probably won't be a need for a FM since the PS4 will probably have DLC for any extras but still. You never know. It is very hard to predict what SE will do when it comes to them with KH.

Doubtful considering we can just download extra content instead of having to buy the entire game again, and also because its releasing on both PS4 and Xbox One so that'd be a whole other system to release it on. DLC is probably how it would happen.

Not as a whole new game.

Im sure that they'd probably just have DLC labeled FM if they do need to add the content. I doubt they'll go through the trouble of reproducing the game AGAIN.

DLC is the way to go with this. i can picture one day square announces a final mix dlc lol :P it would probably cost about 10- 30 dollars depending on the amount of stuff they put in. im just spit-balling ideas here.

My bet is they'll release the DLC over the course of the year after the game releases, then release a "Final Mix" version of the game a year or two later that comes with all the extra content on the disc. Kinda like the Arkham "GOTY" editions.

(I literally just thought of that, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do it)

if they wanna add more stuff, they can distribute it via dlc. its perfect. everyone gets the same thing.

Does square like money?

Yes, but at least there's no more region block.

Yes definetly, nomura always seems to have oh i forgot, that would have been cool moments shortly after the game is released/

I hope Nomura-san doesn't go that route ;_; >.<'

well i mean there was a 1 FM and a 2 FM so there might be a 3..FM

I think itll be a dlc if there is

Yeah. Wonder how much the DLC will cost......

Not sure on this one. PS2 didn't have DLC or update compatibilities which is why the Final Mixes were made as separate releases, but the PS4 does, so they could patch whatever content would be in the FM into the regular game. But then again, didn't the PSP have the same abilities but BBS get a Final Mix anyway? So the truth is, who knows?

If there is "Final Mix" content (I hope Nomura just puts it all in from the beginning, and maybe does a worldwide release like FF has been doing lately, and Pokemon X & Y will do in October) I see it more likely being released in the form of "Final Mix" DLC, and possibly an all-in-one disc version a year or 2 later. But man, would I love it they made it a free update in a game patch. That would be INCREDIBLE.

Yep. And I would like it to have an international release and a playable version of 3D for ps4. In that case, it would be Kingdom Hearts III Final mix +

Nomura will probably go down this route again, like with KH1 and 2. Though not in the same form. DLC now exist which make it easier to add anything him wants to the game, without having to release a new version of it. He could also just release a patch for the game, with all the new content. The DLC wouldn't cost much, since things that have been changed in Final Mixes version of the games, it would all come around the cost of 20-30 dollars if you decide to buy them all, which compared to DLC from other big games, is quite a low price, specially when buying them all. Though if they go  down the DLC route we will probably still end up having a physical version of the game with all the Final Mixes addition DLC, added into the game.

It will be the first KH game ever to be released worldwide if it has an international release date.

I think it's quite possible, since it seems almost every Kingdom Hearts game does get a Final MIX eventually, or at the very least a reMIX.

It's debatable, and Square is unpredictable.

I think that Kingdom Hearts III Final Mix will be all the DLC they release in one package (like a GOTY Edition) plus maybe extra content

Since its coming out for PS4 I think it's likely.

If there is a KH3FM it better come here, is all i'm saying.

PS4 is region free. YAYYY!

Lol, KHIII hasn't even come close to release yet and you're already worried about a Final Mix xD
