Why Do You All Want KH3D On A Console So Badly?

Featured Replies

I don't understand that either :< Also it has great quality already too and there are certain features that need the use of the touchscreen. I'm no expert, so I don't know if that is hard to implement so it can be used on a console as well.

Tbh I don't really care either way, but I still don't understand why some want it so badly on a console.

I didn't even play TWEWY but that would be a better thing to ask for. KH3D is already awesome on the 3DS, it doesn't really need a console port/remake.

1. Don't want to buy a 3DS just for that and Ace Attorney 5.

2. It's annoying to have one (important) game on handhelds whilst Coded's (A pretty unimportant game, all things considered) cutscenes have been ported to consoles.

3. I think it'd work fine if they tweaked the controls. Touch-screen implementation or not, there's no reason they can't adapt it to a controller, or change it so that it fits.

4. It's been done before.

5. It'd be cool to have EVERY game on consoles. 358 and Coded can be excluded due to the nature of their gameplay. But DDD is basically like BBS. It's it's own thing that CAN work.

I'd also like to point out that I've done this twice already. It wasn't very easy for me to make money, but I saved up for both a DS and a PSP which took me a good two years for each. (The PSP broke within 6 months, too) I bought two systems for three games. That wasn't a very good investment, but I love those games. But I refuse, absolutely REFUSE to shell out money for a 3DS for DDD when they can just put it on the HD collection. New game or not.

For the same reason people want 1.5 and 2.5 to be on 360

or the same reason people want KH3 to be ported to the Wii U or PC

people want to play their favorite series on their platforms of their choosing

but the world does not cater to everybody all the time

No matter how much sense it would make to port 1.5/2.5 to Xbox 360 and to port KH3 to the Wii U, that does not mean it will happen

A second TWEWY game would be nice since it has been hinted at. (I think).

Who said I did?

I'm still trying to get the BEAT 1,000 DREAMEATER WHILE IN FLOMOTION trophy before moving on, so I haven't even beat the handheld.

Why the Hell would i want a console version?

So I can film it easier? 3DS capture devices are notoriously difficult to get a hand on, and you can't mod the thing like you can with a PSP.

I don't hate the 3DS,but I prefer playing video games on a big screen, especially 3D adventure games like this with cutscenes and voice acting and all. And to me the 3DS is not that comfortable, I'd rather hold a regular controller.

And since they went through the effort of making all the other KH available on PS3,they might as well port that game too,

1.  No one ever whined about having a remake ported to HD consoles. They suggested the idea of it.

2. Even if they did whine, I think they'd have just as much right to as you do in whining about the want for a HD port.

Seriously? Why Are you all so bent on having the game on a PS3/PS4? What would be the point of making it on an HD console? In case you all haven't noticed, It recently came out last year. Plus, the 3DS is now at a cheap price (this goes especially for the 2DS) and not to mention that the 3DS is selling like hotcakes, especially in Japan.

So how about instead of whining and asking for a remake/port of KH3D we all ask Square for a TWEWY sequel? Sound good to you guys?

Because, if they're going to put the damn effort to get EVERY KH GAME TO DATE on a console in some form, they might as well add 3D, as it is extremely important to the plot, it deserves a spot in 2.5 more than Re:Coded. Plus, alot of people Love 3D and would rather have it on PS3 which they have instead of buying another console. KH has already widely spread over all the handhelds, and frankly, if you haven't noticed, ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE SICK OF IT. -__-

Just saying, Plus, if you haven't noticed, BBS Final Mix CAME OUT IN 2011 AND IS ONLY 1 YEAR OLDER THAN 3D, YET NO ONE'S COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT GAME COMING TO CONSOLE. Whats the difference with 3D, other than its not on a dead console and an exclusive Japanese version?

First KH3 on Wii U, now this....

Firstly, why should you even care? It's no skin off of your back whether it's made or not. If people want it, then let them want it.

Secondly, it doesn't really matter whether it makes sense or not. This is Square we're talking about. If Square made sense we'd already have TWEWY2.

Thirdly, what the hell do you mean by "you all"? It's not like everybody else on Earth wants a remake, so don't say it as if it were.

Fourthly, this:

Even if they did whine, I think they'd have just as much right to as you do in whining about the want for a HD port.

You complaining about other people complaining is just as annoying as just having the original batch of people complaining.

If Square was putting effort into "every KH game to date", then we wouldn't have Days and re:coded as movies.

As for "What's the difference with 3D", you just listed the differences right there. Those look like pretty big differences to me.

Also, how many people who've been complaining about this or KH3 buy the games and the consoles anyway? If those people were "sick of it" then I doubt they'd have bought them. (As for people who haven't gotten some of the games for this reason, then.... ._. Carry on I guess)

To be honest, Final Mix didn't add too much on and the full story to BBS was released in it's original 2010 version, which by time 2.5 comes out will make it 4 years old.  3D hasn't reached 2 years yet, but most handheld remakes appear to be 3 to 4 years after the original release. So, 3D has a few more years on its handheld life. This is pretty much why I'm not really defending the idea of a HD port right now.

Its still THE DEFINITE, OFFICIAL COMPLETE VERSION OF BBS. It counts, yet you guys are ignoring that its only ONE YEAR OLDER THAN BBS. THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE.

I always considered the 3DS to be a console >.>

No difference between BBS FM remaster and 3D remaster?

Okay, tell me how many years there were between CoM and Re:CoM, BBS FM and BBS FM HD, Days and Days Cutscenes, and Coded, Re:coded, and Coded cutscenes, then tell me how many years 3D's been out.

For starter's, 3D's still making money for Square on the 3DS, the most popular handheld console in several regions. To put that point to test, I just recently bought it for my 2DS. BBS FM never released outside of Japan, one reason aside its 3 year life span that counts for a great reason for a HD remaster. However, the PSP was never popular, so this is a good chance for BBS to rise upon, as well as benefit to those catching up to the series.

Oh most definitely!  We have Home Consoles and Handheld Consoles. The 3DS isn't a consideration, it's a definite yes as a console.

Fine, fair enough. :

I'm not whining, but I would really appreciate it xD even if I already have the Mark of Mastery edition, I'd probably spend more on the ps3 port... because it's always better having that kind of crazy fighting in my 32" tv than the little 2" screen on the 3ds xD also, it would be nice to have most of the collection on a console than on separate ones. Too bad KH III comes for next gen Q__Q

IMO it should have been 1.5- BBS, KH 1, re:CoM, 358/2 2.5-KH2, 3D, re:Coded

Let all wait for a Kingdom Hearts game for the vita... and wait a couple of years later watch when Kingdom hearts 3.5 HD remaster comes out ... Just kidding : /

3D Is a important part of the series. It's like wanting TWEWY sequel on a ps3 so....

First of all, it's totally wrong to compare KH3D with Coded. Simply because most of Coded playthrough are not that important as KH3D which has an important things in every single world.Second, about the (no reason ) part. It is enough to say that not having a 3D screen is a reason and if your willing to say that it is the people's problem to not have a 3D TV then I would reflect the same on you because it is also your problem for not having a 3DS or at least a 2DS if you don't care for the 3D feature as I can see from your words.Third, for the (it's been done before) part, not every 3DS game that was remade or remastered to PS3 was successful. Example for that is Resident Evil Revelations, it got lower rates than its original game. So having KH3D remastered would be dangerous and could end up in bad rates and reputations comparing it with its original console.Fourth, Re:Coded and 358/2 Days were excluded because of the time, not because of their nature gameplay. Finally, like you saved money for having a DS and PSP. You could also save money to buy at least a 2DS especially since the sales are becoming lower with these two. And having your consoles being broke got nothing to do with the whole subject, it's your own mistake.

I honestly don't care if they remake it or not considering I already have it on my favourite system.  But as said I think it does make logical sense to port it, along with the other Nintendo KH games in one Wii U bundle cause that'll be something worth buying 3 HD upgrades we haven't been able to play cause they've only been cutscenes(/whatevers happening with DDD/chronicles) and it can sate the thirst of fans who want a KH game on the Wii U.  Additionally, just cause I think it would be in their interest and the interest of fans to have a Wii U bundle doesn't mean I'm all out declaring it has to happen or the universe will implode in a fiery inferno.  I just think it would be a good idea.  The same way I think it would be a good idea to remake Majora's Mask, Banjo Kazooie and Tooie for the 3DS.

I don't even own a Wii U, but it just makes sense, you can get money for including HD cutscenes and then get even more money for actually making them playable.

Nintendo said in the new legend of Zelda game there would be a hint to whether they are or are not going to remake majora's mask.
