When you played your first Kingdom Hearts Game, did you enjoy it enough to get interested in the rest of the series?

My dad bought me Kingdom Hearts 1 in 2003 or 2004 and I didn't like it at first (stuck at Clayton for 3 years).

 

When I was 10, I picked it up again and finished it and since then I got interested in the series and when they started to show Kingdom Hearts 2 commercials I almost died (I didn't even know a sequel was planned and I didn't know CoM even existed)

 

Since then, I've played almost every Kingdom Hearts game except KH2FM, the original KH:Coded and DDD.

 

How about you? Did you like your first Kingdom Hearts experience enough to get interested in the series?

 

I did, though I started at KH2, which is considerably better (in most people's opinion, not all) than the first game of the series 

Yep played the first game and loved the hell out of it and still do. 

I've told this story too many times, but I don't care. Back when I was about 6, I saw my friend playing the original KH, and I thought it looked interesting. However, my mom said I wouldn't like it, because it has Disney in it. A couple years later, I saw it again, and asked mom to get it for me. My mom was hesitant, but eventually got me 358/2 Days. I instantly loved it, and proceeded to get more games in the franchise.

 

So to answer the question, that'd be a yes.

When I first saw commercials for the first game, I didn't exactly care for it. I got it after seeing my cousin playing it very shortly after release, and I loved it right from the start.

When I played Birth by Sleep back when it came out, and I didn't like it. I didn't start liking the series until two years later when I played it again. 

You kidding me? It was love at first sight.

I saw my sister play it when I was really little and I hated it for some reason, but then a couple years later, I played it and loved the heck out of it

Yup. Though I never actually beat a Kingdom Hearts game until years down the line when I was older. (Circa 2007-2008)

From what I say first in magazines and commercials...I first of hated it.I had that "Oh shit"moment when my parents bought me Re;coded but as I soon started playing,I fell in love with it.I always got pissed off and had the urge to hit my sister with my DS when she always said that it's a lame combination of Disney and Anime

I did not liked KH1 that much the first time because I started with KH2 and the movement was better in KH2, but in the end I like all KH games.

I once randomly bought Chain of Memories because i liked the package of it! Then i put in my GBA and heard for the first time "Dearly Beloved" and i was crying and fell in love with the whole series. :wub:   I actually had that 3 times in my whole life the other two times were when i first played TWEWY and Etrian Odyssey...it was magic

I instently loved the game when I first played it, from what I recall! I don't remember ever really disliking the games, though there might of been an 'almost' point once after finding out this girl i'm kind of well enemies with irl liked them too...(this was actually BEFORE i ever played the series, though. but i had a way of being 'warry' of things she liked, actually kind of disliked yoshi from mario a little over her, i think... although i am over it now )

I did, with KH2, which was so awesome from start to finish.

I played the GBA KH first, and loved the whole idea from the moment the opening movie started.

Kh1 is my fave of the series, soooooooo yeah

Around 2004 I was like six years old and my brother played it and some special days and I always loved to watch him play KH

omg I didn't like it at first. It was too difficult. (Well it's my fault for choosing Proud Mode )

 

But anywho I had forgotten about the game and then I saw the commercial of KHDDD which looked really AMAZING!

 

So I went online and checked out KH related stuff and then I started to like it. I bought Days and Re:Coded and played them. Then I got DDD. I absoluteley loved the series so much that I started lookin' at KH13. Then I joined Kh13. Lol that's like my story.
