It doesn't matter to me really, they both have their pros and cons. :D

I have the habit of buying both......

I would have to agree with you on that xD

I prefer getting new games on discs, but I don't mind downloading older games digitally, especially if they are improved versions of the original. For me though, there's that sense of pride in having a physical copy of the game, you can actually put it on a shelf, show it off, look at it and constantly remind yourself "Yeah, I got that". Digital downloads are more convenient, but they just don't hold the same amount of value to me as physical discs do. Plus, they're just data, so they could be lost even more easily....although they would never scratch up......hmmm....I guess they do each have their pros and cons....I don't know, at the very least, I think they should always exist side by side, one was never meant to replace the other.

Depends on the situation, for consoles or handhelds I will always prioritise physical over digital but for PC games I will always buy digital over Steam or something, the only time I buy physical PC discs is when a new WoW expac comes out.

Plus, I love having a box for the game and having it neatly on my shelf.

Also, why is this poll specifically digitally or Blu-ray? Why couldn't you say digitally or physically? Not everyone has a gaming device that plays Blu-rays.

All modern home consoles have Blu-ray.

Physical all the way. If it's digital I feel like I don't own it all and just borrow it. Like it could be taken from me at anytime.

Depends really

I mostly prefer to get them physically but in case I couldn't find a physical copy I'll purchase the game digitally

either way it doesn't matter as long as I get the game

All modern home consoles have Blu-ray.

Modern home consoles aren't the only place to buy games.

Personally, I prefer to have a physical copy of a game, because I mean sure, downloading them digitally is more convenient nowadays, but having a big collection on your shelf or drawer from which you can show them to your friends is better in my opinion.  So to this day and beyond, I will always prefer physical copies of my games.  If there's no other option, then I'll go with the digital option. :)

Physical copies for me; I'm too untrustworthy of downloads. : P  Plus, you've got to admit that there's something very gratifying about having a game and case to look at and put on the shelf.

I don't really care. A game is a game. As long as it's fun, I'm good.

Normally I would go with the Blu-Rays but i like download games when they are cheaper because i don't have that much money.

I don't really care if I get either one.

I do both digital and actual game disc. But I also get Nintendo 3DS games that aren't on a Blu-Ray Disc.

Physical copy of course! Un-boxing and showing off your collection to your friends is the best!

Digital for pc

Physically PREFERRED on console but sometimes i just get them digital depends on the game most of the time lol

Depends... usually, games are very expensive on my state (I can find them at least $10 cheaper on other states, and some times they are still $10 cheaper even after I add the shipping costs). I try to buy them physical most of the times, because I find it safer, unless digital is cheaper, or they are included in 50% discount online sales, or there's no way for me to find them in my country uwu;

Anything physical works for me.

I just prefer to buy games physically period. It doesn't really matter if its a cartridge (for a handheld) or some kind of disc (not just blu-ray). It is nice to have PS3 games on Blu-ray discs, though, as they've got good capacity and are a bit more damage resistant than normal dvds/etc. (at least, I'm pretty sure they are).
