August 25, 201411 yr In all the Metal Gear Solid games I play them on the highest difficulty which is European Extreme. And I like to put restrictions for a better challenge like no kills, no alerts, and sometimes I play the games with only the tuxedo suit on just for the fun of it ( as well as the giggles). August 25, 201411 yr The easiest difficulty- I play games primarily for their story/plot, so on the easiest difficulty I can enjoy the plot without spending hours training and gaining levels
August 25, 201411 yr I'm gonna laugh if someone chooses the fourth option. Anyway, I usually play Standard. If I'm doing Hard, it's with games that I really, really enjoyed. The Kingdom Hearts games, for example. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The Mass Effect series, etc. Edited August 25, 201411 yr by Kaweebo
August 25, 201411 yr Most games I play don't have difficulty settings, but when they do I tend to do a first playthough on normal and then hard if its possible
August 25, 201411 yr hardest first. Get them stackable trophies. If unstackable, I still play hardest anyways for a challenge.
August 25, 201411 yr I sometimes play it on Normal right away but it normally depends on the game. I like a challenge but if I know nothing about the game then I will just play it on Normal
August 25, 201411 yr Standard... unless I've never played the game/genre before. Then I click easy to learn. I might click easy later for a playthrough trophie. Once I know the game in and out, I choose hard. Edited August 25, 201411 yr by KittensOnFire
August 25, 201411 yr It depends on the game for me. If it's one I've never played before, then I'll most likely play the first run on a standard difficulty and build my way to the hardest afterwards. Peace!
August 25, 201411 yr I aways play on Normal difficulty. Though I might choose hard on second playthrough.
August 25, 201411 yr I always play games at least twice, so I usually start with Standard. When I play it again I decide which difficulty comes next, if Standard was too easy I go with Hard and if it wasn't that easy to play I go with Easy.I also choose Easy when I'm only interested in the Story, like I did with KH2 many times.
August 25, 201411 yr I feel bad for everyone who chooses the fourth option... For me, it depends. If it's a genre I'm experienced in, I choose hard. Otherwise, I go with standard. I very rarely go with easy.
August 25, 201411 yr I can't recall many games that have a difficulty setting besides Bravely Default, but I started with standard on there.
August 25, 201411 yr I usually start my games at the hardest difficulty just for the thrills. So far the games that I absolutely cannot beat at the highest difficulty would be The Dishwasher Dead Samuria, and Metal Gear Solid. In all the Metal Gear Solid games I play them on the highest difficulty which is European Extreme. And I like to put restrictions for a better challenge like no kills, no alerts, and sometimes I play the games with only the tuxedo suit on just for the fun of it ( as well as the giggles).See..I don't even know how you can do that... August 25, 201411 yr Depends.First time playing that particular series: BeginnerFirst time playing a different game in that same series: StandardAny other time, it's whatever I feel I can do.
August 25, 201411 yr On Stealthgames -> always the hardest for a good/unfair KI On Hack n Slash -> idc because you do the same in every playtrough
August 25, 201411 yr Well for me it depends with the game for example i HATE doing the Hero Mode in the recent Zelda games so i always play Standard but i always play "Tales of"-Games on Hard and sometimes even on mania. Also it depends if it is the first or the second playtrough, because mostly i play the game first on an easier or the standard difficulty for the story and afterwards with a higher setting to test my skills like in Fire Emblem i always play the story on standard first and then on higher difficulties. Besides KH games, do you usually play games in which difficulty?
