September 13, 201411 yr Heck no. I'd much rather work for other game companies (Already have a few in mind... Or I might just go on my own. I don't know).
September 13, 201411 yr Too much work, stress and pressure. There are better works out there for me. Edited September 13, 201411 yr by Sakuraba Neku
September 13, 201411 yr I'm the Scenario Planner for Kingdom Hearts III, they literally pay me to sit around and pitch a scenario to them once a month The scenarios I pitch I steal from this site so keep them coming It's an awesome gig, sucks for the fans waiting to get the game though
September 13, 201411 yr On the fence. It'd be nice if it were possible to get some ideas across in helping them make the games. But I doubt it'd be possible for me to be in a position with that level of influence or power. In which case, what's the point?
September 13, 201411 yr It'd be awesome!! I believe I have the talent for it too www.shieldsrup.deviantart.com
September 13, 201411 yr It's not my first choice for a game company to work at, but I do want to work at a game company so I'd be happy to work there
September 13, 201411 yr It's my dream. I can think of others I'd like working at, but square enix always comes to mind first. But honestly people, reality check, if you or me or any of us want to work for square enix Japan, we'll need to know Japanese, and have a degree in e.g programming Good luck navigating a Japanese city and working in a company were very few people speak a language other than Japanese Or even being hired in the first place when you can't fill in a Japanese form or know how to even begin to make a game OHHHH Tai yasue is the only person we know of on the inside that can speak english. Even then, he would use Japanese when working with everyone else. Edited September 13, 201411 yr by KittensOnFire
September 13, 201411 yr Never thought about that. Probably, no. I'd make my own company, if I wanted to enter the gaming business.
September 13, 201411 yr I would if I had chosen game development or some other useful thing for them. Sadly, I chose Foreign Trade.

I think it's funny that you act like none of us here know how to make games, even though a few of us really want to get into that type of position, and some of us (Myself included) have actually made practice games before.
September 13, 201411 yr If a job opportunity was given to me at a place like SE I'd take it. Would I willingly go out of my way to make such a dream a reality? No as there are more respected companies out there.
September 13, 201411 yr Maybe... not sure. I'm also looking at other gaming companies that'd be cool to work with. But I might just create my own gaming company. Who knows?

I didn't mean it that way. I mean, none of us are professionals, at least not yet anyway. It's a tough road
September 13, 201411 yr It would be interesting for sure but the projects that Sqenix has been working on have been really hit or miss. I would rather work for Atlus or Platinum.
September 14, 201411 yr I honestly don't know. Like. Maybe it would be interesting to work on something more creative like plots or characters or that kind of good junk. But I'd really dislike to work on programming or anything like that. And even than. I don't think I'd like doing creative stuff too much either. Just because I think they already make things so good. I would hate to ruin any beautiful like that. Y'know?
September 14, 201411 yr I'd like to work for their marketing team because i, as a fan, would know when to release information in relation to titles still in development, Ie FFXV. I would let the fans know the status of the game each time i could instead of doing what they are doing right now and keeping us in the dark
September 14, 201411 yr It would be too much of a change in my life. I have people I care for and responsibilities, I can't just leave to a country where I'm not even fluent in their language. So I guess the answer is no. It would be awesome to work on the next KH or FF, though. Working at Square Enix was my dream as a kid. I will definitely work in game development. I'm finishing up my MSc in Computer Science, and I've been contacted by plenty of game dev companies (among others) due to my contributions at a problem solving website called Project Euler. To be honest, I'd rather have my own small indie company, and that's what I'm more inclined towards doing nowadays. I'm a pro at going off-topic. It'd be awesome!! I believe I have the talent for it toowww.shieldsrup.deviantart.com You're incredibly talented. Good luck! Edited September 14, 201411 yr by wolfsinner
September 14, 201411 yr Sure? I am learning basic programming right now, but I doubt I would get as far as working for such a large company.
September 14, 201411 yr I'd like to be a concept artist, maybe. I don't know, it'd be nice to just be involved in Kingdom Hearts projects in at least some way.
September 14, 201411 yr A year ago I would've said hell no. They're doing a little better now, though, so I'd consider it. Although, I have no experience in game design, marketing or any of that crap, so they probably wouldn't accept me anyway.
Would you like to work for Square Enix?
