Posted October 2, 201411 yr Is the next game going to be Dream Drop Distance HD Remix? Next year in 2015 then Kingdom Hearts 3 should be completed by late 2016 or early 2017?
October 2, 201411 yr i was hoping that there would be a collection of bbsv2, khx, and 3d, on ps3 or ps4, if not released separately, also a full fledged 3d kh x was one of my hopes (probably not gonna happen but only time will tell) I think kh3 is the priority but I don't know where nomuras minds at at this point
October 2, 201411 yr If they ported KH3D to PS4 they wouldn't use the "ReMIX" title. A PS3 port is unlikely. If they port KHx, it would be for iOS and Android. But they wouldn't remake it. Waste of resources.
October 2, 201411 yr Even if DDD does come out next year, that doesn't mean SE's is following the fan assumed game a year thing (it was never confirmed, and only really works when you count different international release dates, remakes and Final Mixes(which Final Mixes are technically the previous game with DLC really) as separate games. Think about it, 7 games unique games (BBS, 1, COM, Days, 2, Coded, DDD), over 12 years)), so even if it does come out next year doesn't mean KH3 will be the one to follow a year after.
October 2, 201411 yr Most likely. Nomura has stated that he doesn't want to leave KH3D as an odd one out, the game is already HD on 3DS (2D mode is native 1080p), scenes of the game are in the KH2.5 credits, and the secret movie included in 2.5 ReMix (spoiler) looks to be involved with KH3D a lot more than KH3. October 2, 201411 yr They are going to release NEW Kingdom Hearts 3D to coincide with the release of the NEW 3DS.
October 2, 201411 yr i really hope KH 3D HD will come out next year for PS3 to wrap up the PS3 life with Persona 5 & Tales of Zestiria
October 2, 201411 yr At this point it is possible, but unlikely. But the 2.5 credits are basically proof. Just like at the end of 1.5, they showed 2.5 cutscenes
October 2, 201411 yr But the 2.5 credits are basically proof. Just like at the end of 1.5, they showed 2.5 cutscenes Doesn't mean anything. They could easily trail off from that, like what happened with BBSV2.
October 2, 201411 yr Doesn't mean anything. They could easily trail off from that, like what happened with BBSV2. How does that not mean anything. That means that 1.5's credits doesn't mean anything either.
October 2, 201411 yr How does that not mean anything. That means that 1.5's credits doesn't mean anything either. Ha. Even if they didn't put that in the 1.5 credits, they still would have made 2.5.
October 2, 201411 yr They kind of put themselves in a rut right now KH3 will take at least another 2 years to finish The only option to make up for KH3 not releasing in 2015 is a 3D HD remix The Wii U is the best option since it will be the smoothest transition and the fanbase is there to support it since the bulk of KH fanbase is on Sony and Nintendo platforms ( even if the Nintendo games are handhelds, a good amount of handheld gamers own consoles) but third party devs hate the Wii U so idk Porting the game to PS3 or PS4 would be tough since they would have to change the game from a two screen one into a one screen ,one. If they planned on a 3D remix to be on the PS3 they should have also put the full versions 358/2 days and re:coded on the PS3. idk about this either People can say "well Nomura wants to port all the games on one system" but 358/2 days and Re:coded are not on the same systems as the rest of the other games so they could make it easy for themselves and port it to the Wii U. The PS4 and Xbox One face the same issues as porting it to the PS3 ( turning a two screen game into a one screen game). People often said " well it was easier to port KH3 to Xbox One instead of the Wii U due to the architecture being similar" well now that the tables have turned and now it will be more convenient to port a KH game to the Wii U, but that is none of business lool, lmao jk Edited October 2, 201411 yr by MasterRoxas13
October 3, 201411 yr Ha. Even if they didn't put that in the 1.5 credits, they still would have made 2.5. And that also mean that they can still make 3D HD
October 3, 201411 yr Hmm I'd rather not have them remaster/remake Kingdom Hearts 3D. At this point I just don't think it's worth it. (But I am biased as I have some issues with that particular title.)
October 3, 201411 yr Dream drop distance could work on the ps4 and if its on the wii u, players can know all the stories of the past games without playing them.
October 4, 201411 yr Honestly, it should be Final Mix!!!!!! With the limitations of the 3DS, Square Enix should at least throw in 2 extra worlds in PS3 version. But if it affects the development of KH3 then IDGAF
October 4, 201411 yr I realy want to play DDD on PS3 but I don't know Edited October 4, 201411 yr by AwesomeKHfan
October 5, 201411 yr Got a little double feeling... I wouldn't hate it if it happend but wouldn't be excited..
October 6, 201411 yr I would love for DDD to come to PS3 or PS4. Although I find the PS4 to be a more likely candidate, with the touchpad controller and everything. With all of the hinting, I'm finding it really likely that they'll release KH3D for PS4 and probably label it Kingdom Hearts HD Dream Drop Distance (unless they add in 3D Stereoscopic to this title, which I don't think the PS4 is even capable of yet). I lost my copy of Dream Drop and I would LOVE to bash some Dream Eaters with Flowmotion in HD. In fact, I'd love it if they just labeled it Dream Drop Distance Final Mix. If they just focused on DDD and not making cutscenes for X (chi) or anything like that, it could work. I mean making a few new keyblades and cutscenes can't be that hard. I mean if they DO remake Dream Drop Distance, they're obviously going to add more cutscenes like they did with 2.5. Just sayin', I'd love a DDD HD Remake. I think Flowmotion would be so much smoother and easier to use on a PS4 controller. If they actually add more abilities to the Flowmotion, then I'd be sold. (I know they wont but there's always hope)
October 6, 201411 yr Hopefully it will be.The credits tease seems like the most confirmation we've had, though it's been pretty obvious ever since those little flashes during the E3 2.5 trailer. Edited October 6, 201411 yr by Kaweebo
