Unequip all Air Combo Plus, High Jump, Aerial Finish and Magnet Splash.

Equip Negative Combo and Fenrir.

As soon as Terra is open to Attack, just Jump / Finisher / Jump / Finisher.....

 

Don't try to do multiple Finishers or he will break free.

Also Ground Finishers won't work,

One of the hardest bosses in KH History...reduced to a punching bag for Sora and his Finishers....wow.

Need to have quick reflexes though, and sometimes the auto-target/camera/whatever can get him into a position where he can break free (I got that a lot when trying to farm Manifest Illusions, to the point where I gave up and decided to synth them instead).

Well I did not know about this video and I beaten him so yes there is a legit way to beat him Guard and dodging and get good are what you need

GRAAAAH!! I just wanna let it out here. I nearly beat Terra/Lingering Will ((( SHET SO DAMN CLOSE DAMNIT! ok thank you XDyeahp I used Fenrir and its very effective on him its also long-range, so you won't miss a hit for me, I let Donald and Goofy hold 'Hi-Potions' so that when I nearly die, they heal me if ever I'm on MP charge. hold 'Hi Potions' as well ) veeeery important )TIP:1. When Terra/Lingering Will uses his SPECIAL after damaging half of his whole life bar, after the 2nd attack where he surrounds himself with the clock wheels thingy, YOU CAN BLOCK his attacks when he charges/dashes simultaneously and does a barrage of slashes. Dodging that WILL NOT WORK (for me that is hehe)2. when you nearly die and Donald and Goofy faint or can't cure you immediately or you don't have any potions left or still charging your MP, USE ONE OF YOUR DRIVES.hope it helps!

If you beat him that way, it's totally legit. Bland and could use a bit of spice, but you do want you will (no pun or reference intended).

I'd love to do this, thought about doing it, but there just isn't any satisfaction to it.

I am so going to try this. Anyway, if you want to have a real battle, just beat the crap out of him. There is a complete tutorial by Everglow about all his attacks and how they work.

Yes this does work in 2.5. Also this strat works for several of the Orginization data battles. A few names that comes to mind are Roxas, Saix, and Axel,
