Its not going to be too long, KH 1 was 15 hours, KH II was 24 hours, BBS was 30 hours so I would say III would be 40 hours or so...

FOr all the waiting, it should be as long as Persona wwwww

Persona is like a 70-80 hour game... but the thing is its not as high as a production value as KH. Persona uses limited animation and 2D cut-outs for the conversations. Not to mention its turnbased, so they don't have to work on many fighting animations or hit-box detection...

The length for the KH games you just displayed was only if you was to speed run the main story and do absolutely NO extras. You could put in 100 hours into all three of those easily. Especially if they were the FM versions.

I'm guessing KH3 will be about a 40 hour story with 130+ hours to reach full completion.

...well okay then... but it is no where near 100 hours... KHI took 40 hours to get everything for me, KHII is taking me 60 or so, i'm almost level 100 I just need to do the data battles and Lingering will... if you know... if lingering will would stop running me over with his keyblade ship. and yeah I rushed though BBS... because I found the command boards boring...

I would actually say it's possible the game is near 45-50 hours and here is why: our standards of console games (even handheld games to some regard) have increased significantly. Many people these days come to expect a game to be well over 40 hours now if they are dumping $60 into it. It's not the same as when KH2 came out, the technology has advanced significantly, and thus expectations have gone up. Hell, most RPGs these days take eternity. Dragon Age: Inquisition just came out and my girlfriend has already dumped over 45 hours into that without doing nearly everything that needs to be done, or even beat the game.

I would say that expecting over 40 hours is not that farfetched. Hell BBS was a handheld game and had around 30.

I'm hoping for at least a 40+ hour story. I'd be very disappointed if it were a short game.

I never understood that way of estimating game length anyway. Like, maybe it's that if you literally go through the motions of the plot and nothing else. I love exploring and being immersed in worlds, and that always eats up a lot of time.

Well it's probably going to be the longest game in the series both story wise and side stuff wise, at least it should be since it will have to do a lot of building up to the final battle against Xehanort and his 13 Darknesses

Honestly, I would be happy for a higher level cap to make up for a long game. I know it's unlikely, but a 200 level cap would be cool.

i hope getting the ultima weapon isnt too much of a pain in the arse like it was in bbs. i want the item synthesis system back honestly.

Kingdom hearts 2 averages at around 35 to 40 hours on standard with non-speed/completion playthrough so I would guess it would at least be that.

I actually think it will. It seems that SE is trying to put a lot into the game both content and story wise. I would say KH3 might have 40 + hours in it if not more. At least I hope. :)

Short? With all the loose ends that have to be tied?? Please....

We'll be lucky if they don't decide to break it up into parts like the FF games.

At the very least, 40 hours. Let's not forget also that they could have each set of characteries journeys be separate story runs, and then finally a final story for the end game.

I just hope Kingdom Hearts 3 is longer than Kingdom Hearts 2.

I put in about 60 hours into KHFM and KHIIFM each by going for 100% completion so I'm gonna say that KHIII will be about the same length.

Hopefully 40 - 50 hours. 30 is okay, but I want a long, fun game. I don't like it short.

maybe they add 3rd revisits in the worlds

maybe they add 3rd revisits in the worlds

So just make a 3rd story without using sequels? lol.

If FFXV flops this game will be long as hell.

In my opinion, I feel like it HAS to be at least 40 hours. I feel like there's just so much that needs to happen in KH3.

Should be at least 50 hours

I suspect since kh3 is being developed on the next gen consoles the lenghth of each world will increase significantly i mean take for example for people who saw the ''behind closed-doors'' fotage they said that cable town is HUGE so i have high hopes for the lenghth of the game id say maybe 45 to 55 hr or more not incluting the other stuff.
