Would you like to see characters from the FFXIII trilogy on a future KH game?

With the new time travel element I'm sure they could get Caius and Noel in there too with Nomura logic

If time travelling remain important, sure. Lightning can kick Xehanorts ass for manipulating the timeline or something like that. I can also imagine Serah and Noel fighting alongside Sora, Donald and Goofy. But I doubt that it'll happen.

Sure, it might finally inspire me to play the actual games =P. My backlog is too big.

 

Plus, that faked "leak" could actually be a really neat adaptation.

It would be pretty cool if characters from the XIII trilogy appeared in the series at some point!  The one character I'd love to see the most is Caius Ballad!  He's an amazing villain, and he would make one hell of an incredible secret boss!  Just thinking about it makes me fanboy!  And well, I'm having the strong feeling that Lightning will probably end up appearing in Kingdom Hearts III.  If any of the other characters from the XIII games make it to any future Kingdom Hearts game, it'd be interesting to see how they'd interact with Sora and the gang!

Not really. I haven't played any of the XIII games, but from what of heard of the characters, any one of them would annoy the shit out of me.

 

I'm not sure why people really want more FF characters anyway, they're just going to be dumbed down crap versions like Setzer or Vivi. The VII guys are the only ones who ever really get to be cool in KH.

I've been saying for a long time now that a secret boss battle where you get to beat up Lightning would be amazing

I hope that we get to see all the FF characters on Destiny Islands again, but aged up to how they were in their original games since we saw them in KH1

 

I think it's likely that Lightning will show up to replace cloud, since he went back to his own world.

The reason I said that is that they have said that they are moving away from having main characters that originate from FF and that they are more like cameos now, so it would make sense if Cloud didn't show up in KH3, in which case Lightning would be a likely "replacement" for him.

 

Caius would be awesome, he's one of my favourite FF characters but I feel like he'd have to be disney'd a hell of a lot and it could ruin his character.

Actually I feel the minimal can be done to him. He could be trying to destroy the steal the Keyblade in an attempt to save Yeul. Or something.

It's harder to do those since Nomura was only involved in V and VI and wasn't even the character designer for most of them.

No, I mean, the original one I linked was actually a fake fanmade leak about KH3D that made the rounds back in 2011-2012 before being summarily disproved. But it looks good enough that I could see her being similar to that style in a game, although given the new graphics, it would ultimately end up a lot more detailed.

Ah, I see. Well that still makes sense, both division 3 3DS games.

Why? Lightning is literally meant to be the female version of cloud, it would just be in bad taste to put them in the same game. there are so many other FF characters that deserve a shot in the next KH game, Cecil and kain are the top candidates in my book, rinoa (she was hinted at)...hell even warrior of light deserves it more than lightning. I get the appeal of lightning, but she and the games she stars in are just bland in my opinion (combat system is good, everything else...)
