As my fellow 'Muricans pointed out, the USA can be very 'Murica, but that doesn't necessarily mean anywhere else will be significantly better. I wouldn't want to live in a third-world country, and the

I would of liked to be born in London.

Some people in America are just... Ugh.  -.-

I'm happy about being born in Japan, but I sometimes wish I was raised in France like my mother. Being the only white person in your school your whole life is somewhat difficult. Also, I wasn't often taken seriously because I am not ethnically Japanese. But at the same time, I love my country and have so many experiences, beliefs, and opportunities that wouldn't be possible anywhere else in the world. :)

Why would anyone not want to live in America. America is like, the coolest country ever

if I were born elsewhere I wouldn't be me however growing up in hawii, ancient egypt, japan or california would be cool

I'm American, but I didn't even grow up here. xD I think Japan would have been kind of cool, though.

I don't have any complaints about having been born in the USA, so no, I wouldn't change my country of birth. :3

Nah I wouldn't change it. Regardless of how arrogant people in Ireland are of those that were born in England.

I'm from Australia and not to sound like an emo teenager, I'm fairly outcast from the community since in my city is mostly populated by bogans. Also, there's no documented history beyond just a few hundred years, and finally my heritage is not Australia, I'm only 8th generation. Oh, and while Australia is supposed to be a multicultural paradise, I live on the island of Tasmania which is very much overrun by a white, European demographic so it's not common to see other cultures come to life here.

Ideally I'd like to come from a country with a rich documented history, who don't necessarily have English as a main language, but it is taught throughout school to proficiency with foreign communication. Mostly just so I can study the history thoroughly and also be able to speak another language fluently.

Finland is pretty ok.

France or Japan

wait, make that Japan now

We can all agree on this.

I would définitely trade France for Japan!

No more waiting months, wondering of we are going to hava good translation and/or du bling and avoiding massive spoilers to Play video games, read mangas, watch animes and anime movies, play TCGs, buy figurines etc...

America... where technology is cheap, The standard of living is cheap, Video games are cheap, and we come before Europe in terms of releases.  America is also the only other major Video game producers other than Japan. If I had to pick I would maybe pick Japan, however I don't think I could handle the education nor the city air.

Probably my background country, Lebanon. If that were the case I'd be fluent in Arabic. But no, here I am born in a Western country where I can't even communicate with my only living grandparent... TT_TT It sucks, it really does.Peace!

Knowdatfeel#PuertoRicanlife

Born in USA, wish I was born in Japan or South Korea!

Well, I'm good with being a Tea-Drinking British Lad. X3

Buuuuut, given the choice...I'd pick from America (Yes, I know. Shut up. xD), Canada, Ireland and Japan.

However, since I can't do that, I'd love to visit those places instead. :D It's the next best thing! :3

I'm going to go along with what many others were saying. Though there's plenty I don't like about America, I can't really imagine living anywhere else. America is just very... convenient I guess. I mean, sure there are some other countries (Ireland and England are what come to my mind) that I think would be pretty similar in that regard, but honestly I'd probably have a large list of pro's and con's wherever I lived. :/ Besides, I kinda like the bigness of the US. There's a lot of room for variety and change if I ever get sick of where I currently live.

I'm surprised how many people would want to live in Japan. Do that many people really have an appreciation for the people and the culture (which I personally have many issues with based on what I hear), or is it just because they think it's a nice place to live and that it has all the video games and anime? There are a lot of places to live in. Where's the love for, say, Germany?

Wouldn't change a thing. I'm lucky enough already to be born in a developed country to a relatively well-off middle class family.

Im fine because Im american,,, but Ill totally change where I live, I live in Northeast mexico, like, exactly where the fence is like to go to the us, because I hate mexico with all my heart

I'm fine with where I was born xD

I think it's because of that very reason xD

The economy is stagnated, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunami. Not a place many would choose to live if they thought well about it.

Still, that's where my roots are and their culture is in my blood.

I'd love to discuss your issues with the culture and what you have heard if you want to.

Not really. Canada has the perfect temperature to keep away large bugs.
