Well, now that you mention that. I definitely think the chess pieces represent lots of things. Another fan on the site mentionned that the two chess pieces at the end have Sora's and Xehanort's insign

Those pieces definitely hold meaning. I think they represent the seven versus thirteen.   Peace!

Luxord might have been or may be forced to become a vessel for Xehanort. I mean think about it, I don't believe that Isa agreed to become a vessel or even a member of the original Organization XIII. Heck, I don't even think he knew he became one until it was too late.

Yes, you have a valid point. However, there are no hints of this at all. Both Xigbar and Saix had yellow eyes because of them being "Xehanorted". Luxord never did, nor at the time of his death/recompletion. Bringing Luxord in as a vessel would surely be a surprise, but I still think that it is unlikely.

The Ling Will could be one of them.

Sora, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Ventus, Aqua and Mickey being the 7 Guardians of Light seems perfect to me.

The two most important trios in the series along with the guy who's been helping them both.

Luxord (or his 'somebody') may not have been 'norted' yet and may become a vessel.

I don't think Kairi is a guardian, i think it might be Lea

Well, she has been confirmed to be a guardian since the secret ending of DDD (where she appears) is called "Another Guardian of Light". Sooo...

Okay guys, this is an analysis I made. Based on information from the net, from you guys and from what I've noticed. I'm sorry if my english isn't understandable. And I know the first image has a lot of information so here's the explanation: Basically, I put the name of the characters represented bu the chess pieces over the chess pieces and I put the symbols that make me think that a certain chess piece represents a certain character. I also put numbers to show you that there are 7 different "light" chess pieces on Eraqus' side possible representing the 7 guardians of light.

BTW: This makes me think that the Leopardos foreteller might be the traitor in Kingdom Hearts X.

WOAH!

Your English is great btw. Can I ask on your thoughts on the piece that Xehanort captures towards the beginning

Is it Riku's? Or Kingdom Hearts?

Thank you and I can't see the symbol on the piece Xehanort captures in the beginning, but it's not Riku's since Riku's is just besides Xehanort's hand. Could be Kingdom Hearts.

I feel like its hinting that Kingdom Hearts will probably be passed around like a parcel!

We must be on the right track. Because I was just about to post what me and a buddy came up with last night.

Yes. I'm not saying that this is impossible, just that I think it is unlikely. If he has become a vessel, there should be some sort of explanation as to how and when this happened.Time will show.

On the chess board you can see the weapons of the organization 13 and the dark seekers being axels weapon, the dice, vatanits (sorry if it's spelled wrong) symbol and MX ram symbol form his key. Same goes for eraquas pieces. I wonder when the game is actually playing out the the events that will occur in the future (kh1-kh3d). Also a lot of people (well people I watch on YouTube) have no idea why MX key is on the wall. I believe it's the first keyblade in existence or very very old... I don't think it's his masters

As for story I think sora might travel back in time(I feel this is very unlikely though)... This might explain why he didn't use his keyblade or it's just the first key you get from yen Sid or tangle also the other keyblade he used in the trailer (the red one) is the key you get from Olympic Coliseum It has Zeus holding a thunder Bolt on it..... Wonder if sora will meet him finally.

Lastly am I the only one who thinks that the tangled and coliseum are connected together?

Okay, I know this is probably going to sound stupid, but did anyone notice that one of Xehanort's chess pieces had Vanitas's insigna on it?

Third piece on the left side:

Could mean nothing. Just thought I'd point it out!

Dang it I didn't know this was already a topic

About the Vanitas pieces. There's two. One is on Eraqus's side, which could represent the defeated Vanitas from BBS, while the one on Xehanort's side could represent Vanitas's return. And I just realized that one of the light pieces represents VEN.

So am I the only one who thinks it's possible for Ansem The Wise to be one of the darknesses? I mean Xehanort was awfully close to that guy and in Blank Points I noticed his eyes were golden

Aren't his eyes orange?

Like people already said the chess pieces end up representing the 7 Lights vs 13 Darknesses..
Before that, shows what already happened (Ven vs Vanitas) and then foreshadows what will happen in KH3.

Master Xehanort's and Sora's pieces standing in front of each other was the perfect way to end this trailer.

Its details like these that makes me love this story to death. Nomura is on another level...

It's not a sun! It has a crescent moon in it! Did nobody remember what Saix's weapon looked like? It's in the same shape! xP

...Really? I have not heard that theory even once. That sounds like the least likely scenario in my mind. I mean, sure, right before or in the middle of the 13 vs 7 clash, but during the final final battle? Nah, there's never been any question in my mind that it would be ONLY Sora vs Xehanort in the end...well, unless one or two friends wanted to help out. But I really doubt that Terra will be the wildcard that foils Xehanort's plan.

You seem to know exactly what's going to happen in KH3 then. That's gotta be some kind of super power xD. Kingdom Hearts throws so many tricks and twists no one can confirm anything. Terra might actually be the one to fight Xehanort in the end for all we know. Don't act like you've played the game already.

So am I the only one who thinks it's possible for Ansem The Wise to be one of the darknesses? I mean Xehanort was awfully close to that guy and in Blank Points I noticed his eyes were golden

I disagree with you there because Ansem the Wise has more orange eyes while Xehanort's are more golden. Plus, I don't think Ansem the Wise is much of a fighter.

When does it show Ven vs Vanitas?

When does it show Ven vs Vanitas?

Right in the beginning. Vanitas comes forth and takes out Ventus.

And that's how BBS starts. With Ventus beaten.

Okay, seriously, where's Xemnas? He has to be included in there somewhere. There's no way they would not include him.

I was hoping I would have a dream about this last night, but nothing.
