Seriously though, he could probably pull it off. He looks and sounds just like Xehanort.

No one knows. At this point we have to wait for either more trailer footage or for an interview that confirms character casting.

 

In terms of fan casting, I'd actually like to have Christopher Loyd voice Master Xehanort. He kind of has a voice similar to what Nimoy was going for with MX and he's shown time and again that he can really capture and master his voice for whatever role he is in, be it a frozen confused everyday man, an eccentric scientist with a stylish time traveling car, or even a number of famous animated villains. He'd definitely have the talent to keep the sinister vibe that Xehanort has and his similar vocal range would be a good compromise, he wouldn't be an exact clone but he'll be close and good enough that it won't really break the flow or tone of the character, as well as let his individual talent shine through among an already diverse cast of celebrity voice actors.

 

Plus, considering how Master Xehanort just seems to have a sick obsession with freezing everybody alive half the time, I kind of have a messed up desire for him to have a quick time event where he tries to freeze Sora (like with Terra in BBS) and he just out of nowhere shouts out "You'll be FROZEN TODAY!!" XD"

The only reason Roy Conli has revealed everything related to kha is because he is Xehanort!!!

 

 

Plot twist

People may disagree with me on this - but I think it would be interesting if Ben Diskin attempted it. After all he IS the voice of Young Master Xehanort, it would be cool to see if he could do the older version too. It would also stop them having to search for a new voice actor delaying the game further

It was already confirmed that there will be no quick time events.

I put my money on Corey Burton.

Who knows? We won't until the game is closer to release of course.

 

Richard Epcar has replaced Billy Zane pretty decently IMO.

I agree. He has this old rough voice and his obsession with Kingdom Hearts makes it difficult to trust him. Maybe he will backstab Nomura and change the ending to his advantage. Nomura will be like: "I am not like Xehanort anymore." and then his heart shines like a bright light and Kingdom Hearts appears from nowhere in the SE studio. Roy Conli is like "Noooooooooo" and yeah KH3 will be cancelled because everyone died in the studio.

I'm so glad other people want to see Roy Conli as Xehanort too! lol. He looks like him and even has the rough gravelly voice at times so I really think he could pull it off.

I suggest Fake-Ansem's original voice actor. And I still don't see why Nomura and the characters still refer him as Ansem even after KHII.

Interesting indeed. However, I heard that Quinton Flynn said they hadn't recorded yet. Usually recording is close to finishing off the product.

Actually, I'd argue that Billy Zane was far superior as Ansem, Seeker of Darkness: it's so disappointing that he no longer voices him.

During Terra's battle against Master Xehanort there is a quick time event where Xehanort grabs Terra and attempts to freeze him but if you hit the X button enough times in rapid succession you'll knock him back. It makes for a stylish finisher.
