Two consoles and one handheld for me. Usually the consoles will be Nintendo's and Sony's while the handheld is always Nintendo. Granted this time around I only have a PS4 and New Nintendo 3DS, I don't really have a want for the Wii U just yet. Last generation I also kind of strayed away from this pattern by having an Xbox 360 instead of a PS3.

I tend to support both Nintendo and Sony (while still playing PC games too).

For this generation I already own a Wii U, PlayStation 4, 3DS/New 3DS and PS Vita. Each system has their strengths and weaknesses, but I get enjoyment out of them all and that's the most important thing.

Last generation I had a PS3, DS Lite/DSi, PSP and Wii. So the pattern was the same this time around. I'll always get a home console from both Sony and Nintendo as the games on them are what interest me. Nintendo will always remain supreme in the handheld department and is an essential purchase from me.

I get them all. I still have previous and current gen consoles and handhelds.

I don't always get all three systems during their own generation, but I've pretty much always gotten Nintendo and Sony's new consoles, as well as Nintendo's handheld. Still need a PS4, which I put off since I wanted to upgrade to the New 3DS more than I wanted to get a PS4, but I already own a Wii U and the aforementioned New 3DS XL. I don't have anything against Xbox, but Nintendo and Sony's exclusives are what interest me more and I'm not the type who wants to invest in three different consoles per generation.

I dunno. I just buy whatever console that plays the games I want.

Always have at least two (one for me and one for my brother) of of the current Nintendo handheld, since the GBA SP.

Have bought the current Nintendo home console since the GameCube.

We have PlayStations 1-3. The PS1 was given to my family for free (after the PS2 came out), and I only purchased the PS3 after the current generation started. The PS2 was actually the console of that gen that we got first.

We have a 360 (well, actually 2, because my dad and brother always wanted to play at the same time), and a Vita. But not an original Xbox, or an XBone, or a PSP.

Most of them were purchased after they had already dropped from their original price.

I get consoles and handhelds that appeal to me or have games that I really want to play, and I pick out the systems myself. Now, I have gotten many different versions of the same handheld before (thanks to Nintendo's DS and Gameboy line), but I always pick out what systems I want to get. So in a way, I usually have my preference on which systems I have or want, and why I wanted them.

Wel lit only gonna be one for me now since I'm moving over to PC gaming.

I usually get one handheld from Nintendo and one console from Sony :)

Some crazy combo of all of the above that I will tel lyou about:

I usually get a console every 4 or 5 years, and a hadnheld each time they come out. I don't have a preference, just whatever plays best

Actually, I tend to only buy consoles when I need them. I bought a DDD when Dream Drop Distance came out, and have plans to buy a PS4 when the released date for KH3 is announced. And keep the receipt, so when I'm done, I can take that thing right back to Walmart.

I buy every Sony and Nintendo console and handheld since PSOne generation. But this gen I won't buy a Wii U and a Vita.

Ok this is what I got Playstation 2 Playstation 3 Playstation 4 WiiU Nintendo DS Nintendo DSi Nintendo 3DS and new Nintendo 3Ds Yup I love my Video Games

I di have PlayStation 1 but my sister destroyed the console

I alway's get the next sony system sooner or later, just not yet cuz im hoping for a kh3 bundle. I also always get the new nintendo handhelds to keep up with pokemon since i've been playing forever

I always hope to get the next Sony console and Nintendo handheld. I try for Nintendo console too but I don't even have enough for one xD

I usually get two handhelds and stick to one console since handhelds don't take up a lot of space and are cheaper. One console is usually enough for me since it's basically just as good as whatever the competition is putting out besides the exclusives but those aren't good enough to warrant another console.

we usually buy when I want to play the games in it. We have already owned playstation one, Playstation 2, Playstation Portable. Once Kingdom Hearts 3 release date is announced, we think we will start to save some money to buy Playstation 4.

Whatever I can afford, which isn't much. But still, I'm thankful for what I DO have. (:

Peace!

It is two consoles (Xbox One and WiiU) and one handheld (3DS) for me this generation. Last generation I had all three consoles and both a DS and a PSP.

Typically I tend to get what Sony and Nintendo have to offer, so I'll usually get the console and handheld for the current generation from both companies. If Microsoft ever does anything that interests me, then I entertain the possibility of getting one of their consoles, but that's pretty rare.

I buy one console and one handheld of each generation intitially, but when I am done with them I sell them and buy the other console I missed out on.

I generally start with the console that suits my taste best, so in this case I have a Playstation 4, playstation 3 , and a new 3DS. But I will eventually buy an Xbox one or wii u when I am done with with my Ps4 or PS3.

Usually two handhelds and one console at any given point. I did splurge for the Vita TV this time around too, though I haven't really gotten to using it yet.

I get what I can.

Though that means the only consoles I've missed out so far were the WiiU, PS4 and PSVita

PS1 - PS2 - PS3 - PS4.

I hope this answers your question.
