What type of reach do you prefer on your keyblade?

 

I'd rather have a longer keyblade. The further away I am from whatever's fighting me the better.

Normally I don't mind what length my keyblade is, but when it comes down to personal preference, I want a mid-range weapon.

I generally prefer a little longer. The shorter, stubbier ones tend to mess with my depth perception of how far away I am from the enemies.

I hate the shorter ones to the point that I won't use them even if they're far better. Longer all the way.

I am more of a mid-ranged gal so yea ! Though personally I really don't care while I'm playing the game because I'm not picky about it soo yea ...

I prefer a long one. Longer it is, better it is for attacking foes.

Reach doesn't really matter as long as you have technique. :wink:

 

Kingdom Key length is good enough for Rob.

wishing star is great. That guaranteed crit would give me such an advantage..

I never really thought about it, so I guess it doesn't matter for me.

When it comes to gameplay I don't really care, as it makes minimal difference to me.  Aesthetically, I prefer a longer keyblade because they don't look as thick and t is more believable that someone would use one.  Stormfall is a perfect example of how I want a keyblade to look

Honestly, it doesn't really matter to me!  I'm content with any Keyblade I come across!  Plus, I make it my goal to equip every Keyblade I get in the KH games at least once!

I mean I just beat the shit out of everything regardless, but I like a longer keyblade so I can beat the shit out of everything at a distance.

Longer so I can hit more enemies. But I don't choose based on that. I focus on the keyblade's strength.

Like usually long ranged weapons are the way to go yes. But if Ven had a longer keyblade I would kick a desk because it's impractical for reverse grip wielding (likewise if the 13 seekers of darkness really do get a keyblade each then I will scream forever if Moon Boy's is as absurdly big as Lunatic how the frick do you even lift that thing???? AND WHY REVERSE GRIP WIELD IT THERE IS ESSENTIALLY NO TACTICAL ADVANTAGE CONSIDERING YOU JUST THROW IT). 

 

But for the most part I'm pretty chill about these things, mainly it's just reverse grip that gets me. So really just Ventus, Young Xehanort, and Saïx. 

Medium length. Too long and it becomes harder to wield due to poor balance; too short and people will say 'you brought a knife to a sword fight? O.o'.

 

Even though I say medium length, I would train hard enough to reach a state where my keyblade can transform and be used like a long whip (Like how Young Master Xehanort and Armoured Terra can), that way in one of it's transformation states it'd be able to strike far.

Depends on if you mean for style or battle

If it's for show then I think mid range or short would be what I prefer. I always like Ven's and they're shorter. Oblivion and Oathkeeper are my top 2 and they're mid or short so from a design perspective I'd like short or mid

If it's for battle then the obvious choice would be long because it has more reach

Depends on the abilities of course, but generally the longer ones. Usually means I'm less likely to get hit, which makes it easier to autopilot it and multitask =P

I really like long weapons, but I don't think a long Keyblade is pratical, unless you're Cloud Strife.

As long as it has a lot of power, I don't really care. However, a midrange keyblade seems to work best for me.

A longer reach would suit me.

For me I like the length of the keyblade to be the same length as the Way to the Dawn keyblade
