What is the most heartfelt tune in Kingdom Hearts?

Oh man, this is hard.  There are a lot of touching pieces, and they all sound beautiful.  But I think the one that touches me the most is Aqua's theme.

Definitely Aqua's theme. It sounds so sad, and everytime I listen to it I picture Aqua sitting alone in the Realm of Darkness

Excellent selection, I have to say. It's close with Dearly Beloved and Xion's theme, but I've got to pick 'At Dusk I Will Think of You' for the sheer innocence and peacefulness of it.

Dearly Beloved - because the Days version almost made me cry.

I picked Dearly Beloved because I just get so many mixed feelings listening to them (especially KH2's Dearly Beloved it just makes me so happy when I close my eyes and take it all of the gorgeous melodies in!  ) and then 358/2 Days Dearly Beloved is just so sad especially with all of those low instruments. It's just so PURTY!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways if Dearly Beloved wasn't on this list It's probably be Vector to the Heavens/Dirge of the 14th (whatever YOU call it) because it's practically Xion's Death song...

I'd have to say the other promise from kh2fm. it's a great piece and it gets me really emotional. I feel the song really fits Roxas and it is definitely the most heartful tune imo

Friends in My Heart (the remastered version in HD 2.5 ReMix). When I first heard it from Everglow's, It made me cry.  

If only there was a "All of the above" option. If I had to choose one, it would be Dearly Beloved. 

I can't decide, its a tie between dearly beloved & the hikari instrumental( the slow one)

Definitely not the intros, if you listen to the lyrics =P. Dearly Beloved is pretty god damn beautiful, which I associate with emotion.

Roxas', Ventus', and Xion's theme. The tears come whenever I think of them T-T.

Tears of the Light for sure. That is so sad and when someone I knew in high school died, this piece fit the whole atmosphere perfectly. Everyone was a mess.

It's so simple, and yet so beautiful

Musique Pour La Tristesse De Xion. Everytime I listen to Xion's theme I feel some bit of sadness because the first time I saw Xion's death in 358/2 Days back in 2009, I felt like I lost a dear friend.

I'd argue that Distant From You is probably one of the more heartfelt ones, but if I voted anything else it would be...any of these. Um, I don't know, Missing You maybe? Kind of a similar theme to Distant only its a bit more outright somber.

It was between Hikari instrumental and Missing You, especially with the remastered ones for the hd remix's. The scene with sora's sacrifice (with hikari) in the first kingdom hearts has always gotten to me!

The other promise really tugs at my heartstrings T.T

i'd say Dearly Beloved, the KH2 reprise. definitely very heartfelt listening to that tune on the end game screen where your only option is to actually turn off the console. really helps to drive home a feeling of closure. i mean, before any other KH game came out after KH2. 

 

runner ups would definitely be Sanctuary After the Battle and Simple and Clean.
