I don't like that he was integrated into the plots

Also his challenges in remake felt cumbersome.

usually characters like him are marketable plushies in terms of design. they completely fucked that up

chadley still isn't the worst though in gaming. There's someone much much worse

If like 90% of the activities in Rebirth wasn't by him he would be a lot more tolerable

He really sucks out all the fun of exploring a world because it all filers through him

i for one find him well made. his purpose is to annoy us and be the naive idiot out in the streets but still book smart and they did that part well imo. especially with the reveal at the end of remake about him. yes he still annoys me but not in a grating way like some others from that archetype so i enjoy him comparatively lol

he still invokes the "oh god not you again" feelings but not in the "OH MY GOD PLEASE STOP" kind of way if that makes any sense

I do like Chadley, I actually like him a lot in Remake because his presense is there but not in an overbearing way

Rebirth is way too damn much

Everything is through him

Any objective you find in the open world? Chadley. Lifesprings? Chadley. Protorelics? Chadley. Summons? Also Chadley. You know who has unique materia? Of course its Chadley!

It makes the world feel so small because it all goes through him

i wonder if its actually a [spoiler]lead up to him being an optional superboss working with deepground or some wild twist like that.[/spoiler] would make the overbearingness make a tiny bit more sense, with that sort of build up. but yeah it does suck that everything is through him

I was very shocked but also relieved to see the 2nd KH4 trailer show at the recent Nintendo Direct.

Hopefully this means we'll get another trailer sometime this year, with a Late 2027 release window.
