Plus Ralph already knows Sora after being a summon.

Most of Ares plot takes place in the real world compared to the Grids we see in it, while all of the prior Tron worlds took place inside datascapes

Whether Leto voices Ares or not would depend on the money prob

Nomura got lucky with Frozen cos he saw an early look at it prior to release and had 6 years between its release and 3's release to secure and make it for 3. He would not have that with Ares as 4 began production long before Ares did

Well if Disney worlds are supposed to be more heavily tied to the themes. I guess what movies come to mind are -

Coco and Hercules underworld - already confirmed and dealing with concept of remembering loved ones to keep them 'alive' and stuff concerning death. Which is Sora's situation.

Wreck it Ralph or more Tron stuff - connected to digital realms.

Atlantis the lost empire - lost advanced civilizations thought to be myths that still exist. Similar to the ancient eras of keybladers like Union Cross or missing link eras. Also has the world's heart thing going on.

The Incredibles - superhero stuff. Particularly in a world that might be harder to adapt to for such heroics possibly similar to the Dandelions situation in Quadratum.

Brave - possibly the importance of knowing history and fighting ancient darkness that someone allowed to overcome them and having the courage to own up to mistakes and break some unessecary traditions. Maybe could relate to the foretellers and their inability to do so if thats their thing?

Treasure Planet - rejecting mentor figures to do what's right and also the capacity for redemption of said people? Maybe relating again to some of the older characters like the Old Master, Ava and foretellers. Except Long John Silver would be the good counterpart to them (also since Sora likes pirates. I want him to have more pirate fun).

Sword in the Stone - idk. Yozora's a king right? Gotta have a movie about a kid learning how to be a king. Plus Merlin is there.

Actually Lion King 2 would probably work too since there's not only Simba trying to be a good King. Kiara bringing two groups to come together (similar to how different groups in Kh must learn to work together). Also Yozora and star girl having a literal star crossed lover situation that's like Kiara and Kovu and Sora and Kairi.

Some Malificent world with an original story cause it'd be cool.
