I think it's a cool way to do a. "New" enemy type these are probably still heartless but they're more primordial or something

The new bird heartless are inspired by european or similar folklore. In Germany we call it Nachtkrapp or in Englisch "night raven"

The Nachtkrabb is a demon like giant black raven that appears once the sun goes down. It kidnaps or kills children. Parents tell their kids about the Nachtkrapp so the kids come home before the sun goes down.

Even Stephen Kings Novel "It" has a reference to it

I mean as cool as remind is and it fixed the ending for three in my opinion a lot.
