  1. I really hope it's not just one playable character, because as much as I want it to be Riku, I also want to play Kairi too. It shouldn't be asking that much to ask for two additional playable characters other than Sora, we've seen that done before in BBS, it's not impossible. Please Nomura, let us play the as the complete islander trio!
  2. YES, PLEASE release KH3 on the Switch after the PS4 and XBONE, I need more excuses to get my friends to play this series! And most especially, DEFINITELY release the 1.5+2.5 ReMIX on XBONE, it's the only thing that's going to rescue any sales for KH3 on XBONE in the first place. In fact, while you're at it, just do the same thing for the Switch when you get around to it. And please don't seriously cave in to the whole "Oh Japan hates Xbox so yeah we won't release this on Xbox" BS, you're literally releasing KH3 on the same system, if you were really worried about a lack of interest for that system, you wouldn't bother with it in the first place. Just do the smart thing and get the ReMIXes on the same systems as KH3, even if the sales are mostly going to come from the west, so are the sales for KH3 on XBONE if you're sticking with that logic.
  3. What did I say? WHAT DID I SAY!? Don't rule out 2018 just yet, that's what I said! It might end up being late 2018, but hey, 2018 is 2018, as long as a window is out there now, I can wait as long as I need to. Let the year of Kingdom Hearts marathoning begin!
  4. It's gotten TOO real I'm afraid. The game is no longer a myth anymore. X)"
  5. In your FACES nay-sayers! Toy Story IS in Kingdom Hearts now, just as it was always intended to be! It wasn't even that hard of a concept to realize either, I'm so happy this is happening!
  6. Finally, we have a release year people! KH3 is that much more real now, it is a phantom pain game no more! X'D
  7. Honestly anyone would be awesome, but I guess it might more likely be Nomura. Still, until we actually see, we can always dream.
  8. Sigh, guess it's time for another one of those "Why are people so stupid for thinking X-game was going to be coming out X-year" topics. Look the fact is that this is a cycle that every fan base goes through whenever a new game comes around that hasn't given any credible release info yet. No one is "wrong" for thinking that it may come out in 2018. For all we know, enough work has been done so far that it might be released in Winter 2018 at best. But given the current patterns of news lately, chances for that are looking slimmer and slimmer, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be that much later either (Early 2019 is only a couple months difference anyway). It's always "safer" to assume that the game will be released a bit later than expected, especially if it's a KH game, but that doesn't mean people shouldn't at least be making guesses about when things might happen while there's still a sufficient amount of time left to consider it. The D23 trailer tomorrow should definitely be a clear sign to help us get a better assessment over how far along things are and how much longer we may have to wait. Not necessarily because of a release date or window, but more because of the apparent state of the game and how much they're willing to share of it. Point is, I don't feel like it's necessary to rule out the potential year of release until the current year is almost over and still no sign of release info has been given. And it definitely isn't necessary to judge the other people who choose to remain optimistic until they feel that they need to switch their views much later on than you do, everybody is waiting for this game, and everybody is waiting in their own way.
  9. I just want that ice cream on the thumbnail. Looks sooooooooooo goooooood..... OoO"
  10. No, but there aren't many that do. Personally I can't quite understand how anybody can prefer listening to all of those synthesized sounds when there's much more pleasing instrumental versions out there. I mean they're still composed quite wonderfully and they sounded good at the time, but the reorchestrated versions are clearly superior. Whenever I go back and listen to the old versions, I find myself quite annoyed with how some of the synthesized flutes and violins sounded, by the time Birth by Sleep came around they definitely made the better call of using orchestrated work where actual instruments were needed (synth stuff fits better when you're trying to go for a more rock or digital vibe, like Space Paranoids or the Gummi Missions). I still understand the appeal in some cases, some tracks like Roxas, Another Side, and Destiny Islands still sound pretty good in their original form (not better than the new versions, but they still stand on their own fairly well), but others clearly haven't aged too well. Again, their composition is wonderful, that's why they sounded good then and why they sound better now, it's just the use of technology has shifted in a way that allows them to truly shine the way the were always intended to. Sorry if this isn't the support you're looking for, but I just wanted to put into perspective why many prefer the remixes' versions over the originals.
  11. His feet, that's what shoes are for, ah-doooiiiiiii. >X)
  12. I'm really hoping for Treasure Planet, but odds are it's probably going to be Frozen if they want to start off the "Oh s***, things are getting real now, SUCH HYPU!!" pattern. Because as soon as Frozen is featured, everybody in the whole world is going to remember that this series exists, since people are STILL obsessed with Frozen.
  13. Really aught to be careful when you use words like "Final Information" if you don't want to raise expectations too high then. Worst case scenario, I guess this would mean no release window announcement quite yet, or whatever would be considered "final information". Still there's sure to be plenty of worthy info to be had with this even without that promise. At the very least the trailer will have more story and gameplay tidbits to gush over. Sides, I have a feeling that such news as a release window announcement would be saved for later in the year for events such as Jump Festa or TGS, that's typically when they've made such announcements in the past.
  14. All of them really. Though I guess I particularly like themes that take bits from other themes. Like you know how if a character has both a character theme AND a boss theme, the boss theme will pretty much be a reinterpreted version of that character theme? I LOVE that! Or how bits and pieces of some themes like the secret endings will find their way into character and boss themes, like the Organization XIII themes coming from Another Side and the BBS characters' themes coming from bits of Fate of The Unknown. Or the more obvious example, Xion's character theme and her boss theme. It's that steady thread of connection that makes them so enjoyable. On that note, "remixed" themes are also enjoyable, like how My Heart's Descent and The Eye of Darkness are "remixes" of Dive Into The Heart and Fragments of Sorrow, respectively, which all stem from Destati. Pretty much, cool themes that remind me of other cool themes are cool with me, lol.
  15. ...I'm not quite sure yet to be honest. I don't "hate" it...but I'm not sure if I "love" it or even just "like" it like I do with the other Sonic vocal themes. Something feels a bit..."off" and I'm not sure what it is that has me feeling this way. At first I thought it was because I'm just too used to Crush 40's vocals, but then I remember being absolutely fine with Zebrahead, Bowling For Soup, Bentley Jones, and Cash Cash's work in the series, as well as any other vocal work from other artists that I neglected to list. Why isn't this capturing me as instantly as the others? I'm hoping that maybe it'll just grow on me after a while, but I guess I was hoping for a bit more intensive of a vocalist to match the intensity of the instrumentals...maybe? Again, I'm still not sure. It's not bad, but it's just...confusing I guess.
  16. As far as I know, there are NO solid leads or evidence of this being the case, interview or otherwise. To be honest, this is the first time I've heard of this theory. I suppose it might make sense, but I wouldn't put that much stock in it myself, since most of that memory stuff is really more effective inside Castle Oblivion itself. I'm more willing to think that it was done as a sort of homage to that moment, though I understand that in the context of the narrative itself that it doesn't make much sense for both Xemnas and Marluxia to do the same thing with no explanation for the former. I always just assumed that he was only there to gauge Sora's power and potential as a tool for the Organization, especially now that they had their hands on Roxas. But maybe they did that for Xion too, it's tricky to say, I don't even know how you would do that. I think it's just safe to say that by doing anything with Sora, Xemnas and the Organization was looking to further their mileage with the Keyblade, be that through Sora, Roxas, or Xion.
  17. Wingardium Leviossssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~. X)
  18. I'll say this, it should have EVERYTHING in it for EVERYONE, no region-exclusivity BS, that's getting real old. The only reason it should have something like this is if it helps with the production time, releasing the main game sooner so that more time can be devoted towards stuff that would ordinarily be considered "Final Mix content". But in all honesty, I'd rather all of KH3 just be released together as one thing from Day 1.
  19. The Sega Genesis damn it, the current ones you get at Best Buy aren't as up to snuff as the NES Classic was. >3<"
  20. To this day, Lingering Will still takes a lot of tries. Especially now with 2.5 and my ridiculous OCD need for a "perfect" fight, for some reason his AI has changed slightly, there are times where it doesn't mix up it's move set a lot, there was a few attempts where all he ever did was that Rising Sun-like attack and it got real annoying. So I guess these days it's not so much that he's just difficult, but it's both that he's difficult AND I'm a stubborn as hell perfectionist now (for the record, I blame DBZ, I got too used to everyone showing off their moves...guess I should blame Captain Falcon too, lol). But yeah, I guess Lingering Will and Mysterious Figure always give me a understandably hard time, though I guess as far as a regular boss fight goes, KH1 Riku and ReCoM Riku Replica and Larexene frustrated me much more.
  21. I don't necessarily like the guy, but it does seem like part of Lea's story arc is going to be "rescuing" Saix/Isa from Xehanort's clutches as well as reuniting with Roxas and Xion, so it'd be weird to not have Isa brought back from the Darkness. I mean if Terra deserves to be saved then Isa may as well be saved too I suppose, and I'm sure Lea recognizes that the changes in his behavior over the years as Saix is due to the manipulations of Xehanort and Xemnas. Not necessarily the whole "Xehanort's influence" thing but more on the whole "Nobodies don't have hearts" thing, as it gave him a justification for becoming more and more heartless over the years. And again, as much as I find him to be a jerk, I do still kind of feel for him, at least for Lea's sake. Even up until 358/2 Days it was clear that the two of them weren't entirely trusting of Xemnas and had agendas of their own (which, who knows, may have involved eventually usurping Xemnas himself...really hope they elaborate on what those plans actually were...), and Saix probably only became as compliant and loyal as he was in KH2 because things with Axel had essentially fallen apart by the time both he and Roxas were renegades. He might not have shown it or was even honest to himself about it, but he was probably a little "heartbroken" over Axel's actions, and if you pay enough attention, you can detect a hint of upset in his tone when he's calling Axel "foolish and weak" for sacrificing himself for Sora and Roxas. He's trying to hide whatever sentiment he might have with anger and distaste, which I guess in the end only ended up fueling his lust for strength and his willingness to see Xemnas's plans go through, whether he knew all of his intentions or not. So, there might still be a few loose ends to tie up with Isa/Saix. Like many of the other members there, he was being used by Xehanort as a means towards a larger goal so in a way he is still a bit of a victim depending on how you read it. So it might still make sense for him to get saved/redeemed in the end.
  22. Hmm, maybe. Might still need some tweaking to still ensure some challenge in each of the modes, but then again 0.2 was challenging enough on Standard, so maybe having a improved Mickey mechanic like this would be helpful to have in a fully fledged KH3.
  23. Huh, that's actually pretty ingenious. I could still see Nomura going off the handle and doing something else completely unexpected, but this would still be a cool idea to go with. Plus, I really like how it ties together loose ends, as well as gives people less reason to complain about Coded's relevance, lol.
  24. Robotboy, always Robotboy. Where's the love!? T3T"""
