358/days remix?
there really isn't any point. the game isn't relevant enough to the plot nor does it have a following big enough to warrant a full on remake. same with Re:Coded.

I KINDA NOTICED THIS...
well nomura is known to write this series backwards so i guess there's no telling what retroactive connections he'll make these days.

What is your favorite level in each Kingdom Hearts game?
just off the top of my head i would say in KH2, during one of the visits to Hollow Bastion, that entire sequence where you fight alongside the FF characters and it all leads up to the 1000 Heartless Battle was always a favorite of mine. What makes it better is at that point you're riding off the excitement and determination from that whole "Goofy's death" scene. Really gets you pumped. Also gonna say another favorite is from KH2 again and it's the final battle sequence at the end. When you enter the door and "A Fight to the Death" starts playing it gets so hype. From there to the end is probably my favorite sequence in a KH game.

Should there be replayable bosses for ReCom?
i mean that'd be a cool way to implement a Boss Replay feature but personally i wouldn't want to experience the boss fights in Re:CoM any more than i have to

Message and new Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] artwork from Tetsuya Nomura
everytime i see some new art from Nomura based on X it makes me a little disappointed that X was never more than a mobile gotcha game. the characters here all look interesting enough to make me want to know their story but the presentation and execution of X just turns me off from it. also because the Poll of the Day thread make me think about a KH game made by Vanillaware i'm even more disappointed lol

What other Developer would be the best choice to make a Kingdom Hearts game?
i'd love to see a KH game in the style of Muramasa or Odin Sphere. those games are beautiful and Muramasa is one of my favorite games for the combat. honestly i think i'd be way more interested in Chi if it was an action title in the style of a Vanillaware game. it could keep the art style simplistic and have great combat.

Will September 7th or November 17th be big news for the ff7 remake?

how the storyline structure of Life is Strange and Steinsgate are essentially the same
i never played Steins Gate but i just wanted to say the title was cut off on the "Recent Threads" tab and that typo in the title made me this this was going to be a thread about comparing the storylines structures of Life is Strange and Seinfeld. on topic, i guess it's not too crazy to find some time travel plots that follow similar story threads. haven't played the prequel game that just came out so idk if time travel even plays into that story or not.

Why I think KH isn't a good DISNEY game.
i would say KH1 is a good Disney game because it's the first entry in the series. it's a simple game with a simple premise. you're going to different worlds looking for your friends. those worlds just so happen to be Disney worlds. as the series goes on, the Disney element starts to become more of a mandatory addition rather than a necessity. in KH1 the Disney worlds played into the story by allowing Sora to broaden his horizons, learn about the Keyblade and what he needed to do, face off against the Disney villains etc etc. in KH2, however, the Disney worlds are really like breaks from the main plot (at least until maybe the second visit). i'm playing KH2 right now and i actually started skipping the late game Disney world cutscenes because it was essentially filler. nothing really happened. i'd watch the occasional cutscene where i remembered there was some nice interaction with Sora and the characters but other than that it all felt like something i could skip. KH1 cutscenes said what needed to be said and moved on. KH2 definitely lingers around longer. anyways, KH1 is a good Disney game but every other game in the series failed to capitalize on the Disney elements imo. every now and then we get glimpses of potential like how the story line from Space Paranoids carries over to The Grid and there's actually a story going on there where Sora is more involved in the plot and not just someone who happened to be passing through. i wish the series had tried to incorporate the Disney elements more but instead they just get less and less interesting. i still think the smart move would have been to make the 13 Seekers of Darkness be comprised of Apprentice Xehanort and then 12 other Disney villains.

"Dynasty Warriors" Styled KH Game?
yea i'd be ok with that assuming the gameplay would be as fun as KH2. from what i've seen, the Dynasty Warrior games look like you're just wiping the floor with entire mobs of enemies which seems like it would get dull but idk. i haven't seen that much so i would assume the games give you a wide variety of options when it comes to dealing with enemies. still, i'd be open to a Dynasty Wars styled KH game.

Have the KH series become fanservice (too much)?
yes. im pretty sure theres an interview floating around out there about KH2 where Nomura says originally Axel was going to die bie Roxas' hand in the prologue but he ended up keeping him around because people liked him so far. resulting in a much less dramatic and poetic "death" where he sacrifices himself to save Sora against...endlessly spawning mooks. wow. axel is a good representation of the fanservice in KH. him getting a keyblade just solidified that position. it was nice when wielding the keyblade had some real weight and meaning to it. now it feels like wielding a keyblade comes standard these days and everyone can get one just by sheer act of wanting it bad enough. i don't get the idea presented in DDD that Axel trained to wield a keyblade. like, doesn't the keyblade chose it's master based on their strength of heart? how do you train for that? it all comes down to this basic rule: the more of something you have, the less value it can gain. now that there are so many keyblades in the series they don't really mean anything. they're just another weapon characters can use.

What do you value the most when buying a new game console?
usually it's the games. i'm not gonna buy a new console if there's only one or two new games on it that i want. i held off on a PS4 for a bit because i still had games on PS3 that i never got around to playing (and i still do hrrrrrgggg). price is also a factor i consider. i can always wait for a price drop or else i'll just save up the money on the side. i'm not buying a new console if it doesn't look like it'll have a library i'll be interested in.

How To Easily Level Grind In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix!
i think i heard a good method was working your way through The World that Never Was from beginning to end and killing all the enemies or something. idk if it's the most time efficient method though. this way sounds a lot better and i'll actually use this since i'm working on post game completion right now. so thanks for posting that lol

Unanswered questions about Maleficent's death
i just assumed the Realm of Darkness was a kind of afterlife where a person's heart goes when they've lost it. maleficent died and so she faded away and her heart went to the Realm of Darkness. she wasn't able to leave until someone remembered her which i believe was a plot point from the original movie. i haven't seen it in forever though, so i could be wrong.

With FFXV Pocket Edition coming, which KH game would you most want a Pocket version of?
i guess i sort of misinterpreted the question as "If SE were to make a pocket edition of a KH game, which would you prefer it be?" KH1 seemed like the most reasonable pick because it's the first game so anyone could dive into it, the story is simple and straightforward, and the weird style FFXV pocket edition has would probably translate a lot better to a KH game. i mean going from FFXV to pocket edition just looked jarring but a KH game already has cartoonish and colorful graphics. it'd basically look like they took the Unchained X 2D models and rendered them in 3D i guess. or close to it. i mean i wouldn't want a pocket edition of any KH game tbh

Any fans of the Kingdom Hearts 1 Sora Outfit?
it's a solid design. it's pretty simple in terms of colors and parts and i think that's what makes it memorable. the sections of the outfit that are mostly one solid color really stand out in your mind and i believe that is an important element of character design. personally i'm a fan of the KH2 look because i dig that black and yellow color combo its got going on. i can still appreciate the design choices behind KH1's outfit though. it probably helped that it was based off of Mickey Mouse's outfit.

WHY DO PEOPLE HATE UNION X(cross)?!
because it feels unnecessary. at least imo. i really wanted to like it but the gameplay wasn't doing it for me. i don't play a lot of mobile games and the whole "gotcha" structure doesn't work for me. then i tried to just watch the cutscenes and out of 500 something missions and about 4 and a half hours of cutscenes i think i saw only 20-30 minutes of actual story, while everything else was Disney world filler. i wouldn't say i hate it though. it just has no appeal to me in it's current form.
