    Now that the final DLC characters have been released, I can't say I have any complaints about the final roster for Smash 4. Sure, I didn't get the character that I voted for, but we got an incredibly diverse and fantastic roster that does a good job at representing Nintendo's history. This is definitely Sakurai's greatest work so far!

    Other than there being like three more swordsman characters than there needed to be, I agree. There could be more recent Nintendo characters (The Inklings would fit so well!) but overall it's really impressive.

     

    Also I think Bayonetta is a great choice, she fits right into the Skin-tight Pants & Great Ass Club right up there with Samus and Captain Falcon.

    @HeyMouseSayCheese I don't have a problem with the sword fighters, honestly. Swords are iconic weapons, and Smash brings together a lot of iconic game characters. It's kinda expected that there would be a lot of swords. A lot of the new ones were really different from the older ones, too.

    Problem is most sword characters come from Fire Emblem, a series that has a lot of different classes, and every single one is a swordsman. Robin and Corrin at least have different abilities which is great, but Lucina, Marth, and Roy could all be the same character as far as I can tell. Ike is okay and honestly my favorite FE guy because the games needs more heavy characters, but then there's Cloud, two versions of Link, and Shulk (who I do think plays the best), and it just feels like so...

    much of the same thing. There's already plenty of variety in the game, but dammit I want MORE.

    Shulk, Cloud, and Link are all pretty different from the FE characters. There are a couple clones, but for the most part, I'd say even the swordfighters are a pretty diverse cast. They could have gotten some more diversity with the FE characters, but I think that Robin and Corrin did a good job of changing things up.

    I just think there were more creative options than so many sword wielding characters from the same series, and it's a shame that we won't get a chance to see any of those possible options until the next game. They had a lot to work with in Nintendo's library, and I hate to feel like they squandered some of it.

    Seems perfectly fine to me. It's kinda early to say that he/she's broken, considering that Corrin's only been out for 4 hours or so.

    well, thats true but i just finished fighting someone who somewhat mastered him/her (somehow) and might i say, edge guarding is real. i can tell that Corrin will be zoning death, i never realized that his/her forward smash had a guard trap.

    Actually the banlist updates every 3 months now. And this was just an emergency update. PePe was THAT much of a problem.

    Well, you mean will be hit hard. :) Though not just Pepe, Majespecter, Magician Pendulum, Amorphage and a whole load of other Pend based decks are being hit hard thanks to Luster being limited now. Not that I play much meta decks tho :P

    Same. Bayonetta just feels too different too me although she looks amazing when playing by a good player but Corrin is definitely one I'm going to use a lot

    I can't figure out the whole combo thing with her. xD Corrin's a lot more fun to use in my opinion, although both are good characters.

    ... Dangit Xiro you beat me to it. xD But yeah, I was way more excited for Corrin. Bayonetta looked cool (And she is fun to use), but I never really cared much for her in general. Corrin looked amazing (And is xD).

    I finally got Bayonetta on the 3DS version. I'm still learning of how to use Witch Time. I get how to use that shadowy punch and stomp attack.

    I had to backup my Pokemon Rumble game's data to get some more free space. That's cold like Bayonetta's attacks. TT.TT lol

    Uh...so I downloaded Bayonetta. And I can't find her on the roster. I'm playing on the Wii U version only, and I only got Bayonetta, not Corrin. I also don't have all of the characters unlocked, as I only got the game somewhat recently. Is anybody else experiencing this, or is it just me?

    I had that happen with Cloud, you have to exit the software then re enter it and it should say that its downloading. at least thats what happened to me

    I checked out IGN and according to Nintendo, they are doing a Nintendo Network maintenance. 4:50PM-6:30PM PT. That's probably why I'm not seeing a blue dot yet.

    ^this. It's less serious than most other anime which can get annoying at some parts. But it's also so far the most hilarious anime I've seen :)

    I'm not that picky. But generally I like to see anime with decent story, action and interesting characters. However, I haven't really seen anime with much comedy before and if you say its hilarious, I'll definitely try watching it.

    It doesn't have great storytelling elements but there are plenty of times I've been overwhelmed with the feels. The action is good, the music is great, and the characters are interesting to say the least. Definitely worth some time to at least see if it's for you
