It's almost the New Year, and that only means that it is almost another year of trying to further my Amiibo collection! Today I got a Falco Amiibo, so now I need to try and get Fox soon as well!

I've decided. Xenoblade Chronicles X is my top pick for games of 2015. Not because it's the most fun, even though it is. Not because it has the best story, which in retrospect, meh. Not because of any of that. But because it is the first game that sets you in a huge, open world with practically no load times and says, "Do, go, and play as whatever you want". It's as simple as that, and that's why I find it to be the most fun game of 2015.

Minato arisato repliedWhat's wrong with it? If kojima was given enough time it would have been complete bro. I think its a good game in gameplay and it just needed some further plot to wrap it up.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah, that's the big problem. It had so much build-up. It had so much stuff that it could do, and it just outright wasn't finished. And, in my opinion and maybe only my opinion, an unfinished game can't be considered anywhere near game of the year. And really, I would only play Metal Gear Solid for plot. So when the series ends with something that has an unfinished story, I say why bother? Still, I understand why you and everybody else loves it.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah. Though I will give props to Fallout 4 as well, even if it's the first one where I've never really felt immersed. And really, that's a personal point for me. Me being homosexual, it was very awkward starting the game and already being married to a woman with a baby boy. That might be a petty reason to not make a game GOTY, but this is my opinion in the end. And everybody else can have their own opinion.
Shulk repliedFrom what I've seen, the family is an important part of the game's story, but I can see what you mean. I actually haven't played Fallout 4 yet (I don't really have a way to play it anyway), so I can't say much about that one. I can only really look at Nintendo games when it comes to GOTY considerations, but regardless, I know X would be mine even if that wasn't the case. I mean, it's the sequel to my favorite game.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah, the family is kinda important. But in the other Fallout games, there was a plot that you could at least kind of relate to more. Or, well, however much you can relate to finding your dad and getting shot in the head. Anyways, I digress. Xenoblade X is amazing. In all honesty, it's slowly climbing up my list of my favorite games of all time.

Playing FF6 to the end for the first time -> feel ready to do give Kefka's tower a second shot -> spend at least 5-10 minutes in beginning of dungeon getting everyone tricked out -> get fairly far in -> some random encounter uses "Blaster" 4 times in a row and wipes out my entire party -> ragequit

Shulk repliedI'm refunding Among the Sleep. It seems like a really cool game, but my laptop couldn't run it well (I really need to check system requirements ._.), and I got a really annoying glitch every time I tried playing. I plan on getting it again once I get a better computer, but for now, I'm going to try finding something I can actually play... Assuming I get my refund before the sale ends. Steam Support's famous for taking its time.

Shulk repliedI've heard it's good, but since my computer can't run it, I decided to hold off. Something on my account said that I should get the refund within 24 hours, so that's good.
I'm thinking about Fallout: New Vegas or System Shock 2 right now. Or a Star Wars game, since I can't have enough of those.

Shulk repliedI have "($5.99 pending)" by my total wallet funds, and it says that I should be getting the refund... I'm just not sure how long it'll take, since this is Steam Support we're talking about. They never did get back to me the last time I tried to email them about a problem, and from what I've heard, that's not really an isolated incident. ._.

Even though you don't pray, I'm so grateful and I really appreciate your thoughts! My cousins are much better now, but early on she was in a really bad way, and they were about to put her on life support. Thank God she's much better now

I have had a wonderful winter break at home. Was a a family friend's place for Christmas Eve, was home Christmas Day and had extended family for Christmas dinner, and had family friends at my place last night. It's been a great winter break.

Wait, wait, wait...Lemme get this straight. In BbSFM in 2.5, once you unlock to award scene in Disney Town, it STAYS unlocked for all subsequent playthroughs, regardless of difficulty? So what about the Secret Episode? Is the same true for that?
