I resigned from my job, so now I have a lot more time for KH13. Woo.

Where did you work? And why quit?
Snow repliedWhite Castle (for about 7 months), and I resigned because my general manager has no idea how to schedule people.
I'm still in school and I have family and friends outside of my job, but my general manager thinks my entire life should be White Castle.
Thanks to the job I'm now failing pretty much everything, but at least I have a month left to catch up.

... Was it really that surprising to Smash fans that Shulk had a British accent when he was first revealed to be playable? ._.

WakingDawn96 repliedWell I never heard of Xenoblade until people started to demand that Shulk be in Smash Bros. So I had no idea what to expect when I looked it up and saw the reveal trailer later on.
Shulk repliedI mean, I can understand people not knowing what he'd sound like. I just don't get why so many people were confused by him having a British accent specifically. ._. I also don't get why the "I'm really feeling it" like is so funny, though that's probably because I've heard it thousands of times in Xenoblade.
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedI think it's because when Japanese games (and anime, for that matter) get English translations, they're usually in some sort of North American accent, so hearing an accent from the U.K. just wasn't expected.
Also it's just silly out of context. Like Sonic saying "You're too slow!" is totally a thing he would say, it's just funny when he says it to Captain Falcon or Falco, both guys who tend to move pretty damn fast.
Exiblade7 repliedI was just one of those people who thought he had an Australian accent because I never heard of Xenoblade Chronicles until Shulk was introduced in smash 4. I think some people find the "I'm really feeling it" quote so funny is because it actually sounds pretty epic. I laughed a few times when I heard it for the first time.
