    I always wonder why people say nothing too important happened between KH2 and KH3 except BBS. Am I the only one who thinks DDD is relevant story-wise?

    DDD is even more important than BBS imo. Simply because we follow Sora and he has no clue what has happened in BBS. And what Sora doesn’t know we don’t need to know either xD I’m exaggerating of course, but it was the case with CoM.

    DDD has a lot happen near the end, but nothing that can't be summarized quickly. It's a lot more about bringing things to a head than things actually happening

    It's true that DDD can be summarized quickly. But it still has relevance to the story. The only irrelevant KH game imo is Coded. And Felixx, with Marluxia returning and Sora probably going back to Castle Oblivion, I think COM is going to be even more relevant now which is kinda crazy when you think about it, KH3 is really looking to put the whole series into perspective.

    Yeah for sure. But I assume the game will summarize the happenings of CoM at some point now, in order to have Sora know what has happened. While the events of DDD should he known by the player at least to some extent.

    KH3 will summarize everything. They've been careful to not have Sora be aware of what happened in most non-numbered KH games.

     

    Re:Coded is definitely not as irrelevant as originally thought, with the nature of the Book of Prophecies, and it being Maleficent's goal to some capacity

    Of course some have more importance than others. Re:COM is indeed important, DDD is important as well since it introduced some characters, themes and ideas for the future which is KH3. Even Re:Coded had some kind of importance in it's own way and whether many people deny it, KHUX has a lot of importance but we still lacking some data for that one. Every KH game to date has a part on the overall story in a major or minor way.

    Same here, I really don't want to play UX... I hope I get what's going on in 3 having played every other game in the franchise (and having watched the .2 demo).

    Yeah making X/UX canon was probably the biggest mistake in my eyes; the story's messier than DDD

    I don't care how messy the story is, KH hasn't had a simple and clean story since CoM. I think people can take some sanctuary in the fact that KH3 is definitely not gonna just assume every player knows everything from every previous game, but it's annoying that we're dealing with developers that don't think twice before making a mobile game a vital part of the story. And that's my issue. KHUX is an incredibly dull gatcha mobile game.

    TBH I find it really fun! I mean it's not KH and KHII fun but you do get the KH feel, it is a nice game to kill time without much effort which it's the purpose. Giving it a mysterious story only makes it better appealing and, while confusing now, we still have to get to the end of the story to determine if the story really is that convulted and confusing. So it's a good super easy game, with it's flaws as everything, nut good nonetheless

    Finally managed to get rid of that awkward 24" TV in my desktop configuration, and my brother gave me a 23" to match the ones I have...neat.

    Only issue being that I'm an idiot and completely forgot that male DSP to female HDMI adapters are specifically for outputting DSP to HDMI, and that I need to purchase a more EXPENSIVE adapter to do HDMI to DSP output for this new monitor...so I'm settling for the twin 16:10s that my stepfather used to use for work until I can find $40 to drop on an adapter. Joy.

    Eh. For one Riku also got Noctis hair, and for two the original outfit of Noctis wasn't thaaat different from his final one. Both the pants and the boots remind of Riku's, and Noctis wore them first. Can't argue that.
